A couple of Wow moments
I've been meaning to post this but keep forgetting. I realized a while ago that I could wrap a normal sized bath towel around me and tuck the end in and it will now stay put! I don't need to use a bath sheet any longer. WOW.
Yesterday I went into Penny's to buy a new pair of jeans. I saw a clerk standing around so I asked her where I could find jeans (didn't feel like looking). She looked at me and said "The 'Misses' jeans are down this aisle to the left" Misses, can you imagine??? Not womens or plus or full figure, but misses! I ended up with a size 14 Levi 515 jean. I've never been able to buy Levi brand before. This is sooo exciting. I told my niece inTennessee that I got to buy a size 14 and she said "Geez Aunt Jan, that's what I wear!" I think she was a little put out to find that I'm now her size. And I weigh 10 pounds less than my DIL now too. This is so wonderful. WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

But don't go out and buy too many things in size 14. I remember when I bought my firt pair of size 14's, I was ecstatic. Then it was size 12 and then when I bought a size 10, I put the label on the front of my fridge for all to see. haha. Now 14's, 12's and some 10's are too big and now I'm wondering how long I will be wearing size 8 jeans. I'm fairly tall at 5'7". Wow, it's almost too hard to believe isn't it? I remember the towel thingy too. What a feeling and no one but fellow Weight losers can identify. My grand daughter loves hugging me and telling me how she can get her arms all around me. (she is a petite age 10)

Thanks Sandy. It sure is a great feeling. I can't tell you how long it's been since I wore a size 14. I know I wore that size at one time, but just can't remember. I can't imagine getting down to a size 8, ever. It's just really nice to be able to shop in the Misses section. I still tend to gravitate to the plus or women's section.
