Good Morning Debbie and everyone,
I have a 2nd job interview today at 10am. So I am gearing up for that. Then I am planning on going to get a b-12 shot on my way home, gas up the car and then pack me and the car for my trip up North.
I just got back from Lake City Florida wich is about 230 miles from here. I went to the support group there and met a lot of nice gals there. It is the 2nd time I have gone. I stay overnigth with my scrapbook friend.
I just made a pot of coffee for me and Carl. Man does it taste good!!!!!
I cant wait to see Margo, Brenda, maybe Pat and Eileen and Nan if I go to Michigan. Oh ya and Phyllis.
I just hope I dont get half way up there and they call and tell me I have the job. Time will tell.
Have a great hump day.

Dang Carla, I would love to meet everyone tooooooooooooooooo!!!

I love Michigan but the older I get Florida sounds delightful. I think we will have lots of snow this winter.

But I also love the 4 seasons....but man I love the sunshine!

Keep me in mind too if you visit with Nan.  I don't live far from her now.

Just a quickie for me too. Got to be at work early today.

Jeff, Tess and I had a wonderful dinner last night. The restaurant was nearly empty, so we were lots more comfortable. All things are worked out. Life is good again. Thanks for all the loving and supportive words from all of you. Your thoughts and feedback bolstered me up and helped me more than you know.

Margo, good luck with your showing.  George, so sorry you have to help cut hours....better than cutting jobs!  Carla, good luck with the interview, too

Okay, off and running. Love to all

Susan

Hi Debbie, George, Margo, Carla, Susan & those I haven't seen on here yet!

Good morning!  Wanted to let you all know that I had Dillinger to the vet yesterday, he has this growth on his front paw, was told it should be left alone earlier this year, due to his health stuff.  Well the vet I saw yesterday was very impressed with my dear old boy, said that she was trained at the hospital where he had his life saving surgery in February and that either a miracle has taken place, or there was a mistake in the reading of his pathology report, as she has not ever heard of a dog diagnosed with the form of cancer that Dillinger was diagnosed with living as long as he is, so we are thinking it was a miracle healing based on all the prayers and love that were made on his and my behalf.  Anyway, that is the good part, which when they took x-rays of his lungs proved further that while Dillinger is an old man, he is still pretty darn healthy (can you see me jumping for joy here), anyway, he is scheduled to have the growth removed the day after he turns 13, on November 16, there is not alternative but to remove it as it has stretched the skin to the point of bleeding and she cautioned about the anesthia and so on, but then again she was for doing this, he is a fighter and what will be will be.  So my dear Dillinger will have cost me upwards of $9000 this past year, and financially I am strapped, but quite frankly I don't care, the bills get paid and what will be will be.  I am grateful to God and all of my friends who have pulled for me and Dillinger!  Whether it's a year, two, I have had the best 4-legged friend gifted to me for all these many years now and I believe when his time comes, I will be sad, but knowing how blessed we both have been to have shared in each other's lives I will be ok.

Well it's Wednesday and I better get my butt off this computer and get ready for work.

Have a great day!  Those facing and dealing with life's tougher situations, my thoughts and prayers are with you. . .  Margo good luck with your move, Carla good luck with your job, Debbie, hope your day goes well, as well as your's too George.

Hugs, prayers and positive thoughts, Laureen

Ah Laureen,  -  I don't have the words to express the respect that I have for you looking after your good friend, Dillinger.  He's a lucky boy.
