News on Joyce Stewart
Joyce doesn't post a lot here anymore, but thought some of you *****member her would like to know. She had knee replacement surgery a couple of weeks ago. She went into a rehab facility after the hospital (nursing home) and is now home and recuperating, although in some pain and is about to start physical therapy. She said she didn't realize the pain would be as bad as it was. Yeah, well, I can understand that!
I talked with her last night and she sounded pretty perky, but then she has Percocet to help her through the rough spots ... and John to wait on her hand and foot. Not a bad combination.

You are truly the caring friend. That's a trait I wish I had. I care but you demonstrate. There are jewels in your crown.
Hate we don't see Joyce much anymore. She's always such a great communicator and such a joy in her adventures!!
When you talk to her again, remind her she's a Dallas Sistah, would you? And we so wish her a speedy recovery.
