I got my lab work back for my 2 years out (6 weeks away, but did it early).

Everything is pretty good.

Some of the high points (things I actually recognize):

Calcium was 9.2 - recommended s 8.5-10.5
Protein was 6.9 - recommended is 6.0-8.4
Cholesterol is all good.
White blood cells count is 4100, should be between 4000 and 10000
Ferritin was 143 - recommended between 12-282
Vitamin B-12 was 871 - recommended 250-1100
Vitamin D was 37 - recommended 30-100

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Lookin' good George!  That's a great accomplishment at 2 years out.  I know it's a drop in the bucket compared to you, but I just had my 6 month labs done and everything was perfect.  It just made me feel good that I must be doing something right!

First, and most importantly, I take my vitamins and supplements EVERY DAY.  I also follow the rules.  I know we need 60-80 grams of protein a day. I snack on cheese.  All the time.  I take 3 Calcium Citrate tablets a day, instead of the two my doc recommends.  I take 2 Vitamin B-12's (sublingual) a week, instead of the doctor recommended 1.  I honestly do not take any iron, but that is per my doctor's orders because of how good my iron number always is.  I am going to add Vitamin D to my vits starting this week.  I want it a little bit higher.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

George, it sounds like you are in great shape!! Keep doing what you are doing and you shall continue being in great shape.

Good Lab results George.  I will be getting mine on my one year visit November 23rd.  I hope mine are all good and normal.

Have a great weekend.....

George,  You are a great example of how following the rules work!  I plan on following in your foot steps.  Thanks for sharing, Pam

B12 is as low as it ever should get it.

I'm always out of step, but I would be in a panic if my D was that low. Got PTH?
A?
zinc?

ferritin is nice. Iron?

I'd love to have that protein

I'd tweak my potassium up to mid-4's, but *I* would not tweak anyone else's.

P.S.  My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.
