Yeah!! I finally got my surgery date!

Hi everyone here on OFF!

I am so happy to report that November 13th is my surgery date.  It is Friday the 13th but I am trying not to get too nuts about that.   This group has been most helpful and supportive during this whole preparation process.  I hope I can provide the same kind of support to other newbies in the future.   It feels so funny calling myself a newbie when I am 60 years old, but God willing I will be a new 60 soon.     HUGS Pam

Pam, I think that 13 will be your new lucky number! Congratulations. Tho it's been almost 5 years I remember that wonderful feeling. My spring you'll be like a butterfly emerging from a dreary cocoon. What fun you'll have picking out a new spring wardrobe and enjoying the wonderful things that you'll be able to do again! I'm 60 also but feel about 45 thanks to my RNY in 2005.

Hi Pam and Congratulations on your surgery date.  This is fantastic.  I will be having my one year surgerversary on Nov. 19th and have lost a total of 118 pounds.  I will be 67 on Nov. 15th, 5'7" tall and weigh 152 pounds.  This is 9 pounds below target goal.  I will be traveling to Bismarck, ND  for my one year checkup on the 23rd of November and am very excited to have the surgery staff see how damned good I look.  hahaha

I feel great and feel 20 years younger and life is so good!!

This will be happening to you too friend.
