Encouragement

I haven't been on here for months......sorry..........

We are kind of on vacation right now and I am kind of encouraged tonight.  I got a test message from my daughter that she wants to do "biggest loser" at our local YMCA.   That is the first step to her admitting she has a weight problem.  I wished she would have lap band or gastric bypass done.  But speaking from experience I know she has to come to that decision herself.
My sister went and had her first visit with the DR. to had the lap band done.  One of the goals I had in mind after havring the lap band done on myself was to encourage some of my family members to have the surgery done. 

We have gone from Nebr. to Phoenix, my brother in law had heart surgery and so we stayed there a few days.  Now we are headed to Little Rock , Arkansas will be there tomorrow and then to Kansas City on Tuesday and Wednesday for training for work.

I am going to spend the next hour or two reading throught posts on here.  Glad to see some familiar faces that are sitll posting here.

Hi Barb, it is so good to hear from you. It is nice your daughter is ready to do something about her weight. Hopefully she can do it without surgery. I have a sister who needs surgery, too. I have given her information but she is not ready. Have a great time in KC. I was born and raised there. Mona
