WORRIED...SCARED...SIGHS
I'm sure the police are familiar with this kind of scenario where drivers don't see the bike rider. The thing is it would have been better to call the police and report the accident no matter what the lady was saying. I'm afraid I learned that the hard way also. Same situation only I hit a car coasting out of my parking lot. There was NO damage to her car and she was fine. It was a very light bump. A month later my insurance company calls me telling me she has over 10k damage to her car and medical bills to cover. WHAT?? But by then there was no way to prove it wasn't me that caused the damage. Hard lesson learned. Make sure you report the guy who hit your car so the police won't think the damage is from you hitting the bike.
first off i would like to thankyou all for posting to me on this awful happenings for me....(((OFF)))
i am still waiting to get the police report...went friday and she said it wasn't finished yet....took my name and phone number and she said she would call me when its ready. ok i am still waiting....no i didn't call the woman i hit....not sure if i should until i see what the report says. i am worried i am going to be sued...not sure i will be but i am still worried. i haven't been eating right and i know my protein is way down...have headache to prove it...i am trying to get food in...i am drinking water so i am not worried about that.
