I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Actually Peter Paul and Mary did it first, BS&T made it famous ... it's been in my head the past few weeks because of PPM ... I've been listening to their CDs. I want that song played at my memorial service.

Thanks for the reminder of the circle of life.  I'm sorry for your loss.  As we age, unfortunately, death of those close to us is too frequent.  All the best.

Sounds like Aunt Bernice was quite a woman.  A great example of a strong person.  I'm sure you will be able to comfort yourself and your mom with loving memories of a life well lived.  Every family should have at least one great woman to look  up to.  You are lucky.

Blessings for Madelyn Quick.  She should hear stories of Aunt Bernice and what it is like to be a woman of substance.  Someone to aspire to.

Im so sorry to read this, Eileen!  Your Aunt Bernice sounds like quite a *****y wonderful woman.. and a survivor!!

My Mom will be 90 next month and she is the last of her generation on her side too.  I love the analogy to the song and the birth of the new life in the family.  Bernice isnt dead..she has just moved on to the next level *s*.

Sorry for your loss - you will miss her.
Your analogy is great - my FIL's birthday would have been Sept 13 had he made it and his second greatgrandaughter was born Sept 8.
Circle of life is a great way to put it.
Thanks for the reminder.  Am thinking of you.
