What's new Sunday????
Karen C
Welcome Back! It sounds like you had a fun trip to Italy. I'll bet that was a wonderful experience.
I have to work a few hours this morning and then planning on cleaning the kitchen, cleaning out the fridge, and trying a recipe with spaghetti squash for the first time. It's rainy and cold, so it's a good day to stay in and get some things done.
Have a wonderful day everyone. Prayers being uplifted for everyone for health, peace and happiness.
Debbie
Welcome back Karen -- can't wait to hear about your travels to Italy.
Glad you had safe travel.
Took the back roads from Three Rivers yesterday and with the brightly shining sun, the color was absolutely fabulous.....I can't begin to describe the fall color we are having here in lower Michigan....it's breathtaking.
Had a good turnout for the Rally, a nice program and luncheon. Everything on the luncheon was "weigh****chers" and simply delicious.....how nice!
Off to church and Bible Class in a few.....got to get my yogurt for breakfast first.
Have a wonderful Sunday and enjoy God's creation wherever you live.
Hugs,
Pat R.

Done! Your Ticker:
Good morning, ya'll.
It is cold here again this morning! At least cold for us. But nice and cozy in the house, where I plan on staying.
I got my hair permed yesterday. I want something easy to maintain when I go to Oregon on the 30th. And through the first part of my chemo. Then as it begins to fall out, I will have my son cut it off for me.
My hairdresser told me about the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery Program. They help get cancer patients to and from treatments. Since my husband doesn't drive, and my DIL works, and our son will be deployed for a lot of the next 2 months, I think I will need their help. When I am done with my treatments, I will volunteer and 'pay it forward'. My hairdresser, my housekeeper, a neighbor and an OH friend here in J-ville, have all offered to help, as well. I think this may work!
Karen, glad you had such a great time. I met my DH in Rapallo, Italy in 1964. I'd love to go back and visit that beautiful country.
George, I hope you are feeling better after your loss.
I hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying their weekend!
Have a fantabulous day.
The "girls" are still sleeping, it's two hours earlier here than their time zone, so we're waiting for them to get up so we can get started for the day. Jeff and Tess came over last night and we had a great time, laughing and carrying on until midnight. So much fun! Today is the fair and who knows what else, but there isn't a cloud in the sky, so what ever we do at least it will be a pretty day.
So sorry for George's loss. Hope everyone else's weekend is going well.
Hugs to one and all!
Susan
Welcome home dear friend, looking forward to you sharing some of your stories of Italy when you've gotten back in the groove of your regular life.
The wedding I went to yesterday was nice and I will post some pictures later today as soon as I get it figured out, based on the site I am downloading them to.
Last night was a bit rough, as Dillinger woke me up four times to drink lots of water and then go outside to relieve himself of it, the amount of water he drank made me nervous because the vet had told me that is one of the signs to be on the look out for, but he also woke me up this morning looking for his peanut butter and pills and than ate his breakfast, so perhaps he was just very thirsty, but I am very tired, after having stayed up late on Friday and getting much interrupted sleep last night, guess it will be an early to bed night for me.
This weather we are having is been tough on everyone, but I'm going to take advantage of it and go visit with the grandbabies this morning after I drop Diane (my housemate) off at work, then I have a return to Khols and home to cook and prepare for the workweek.
Hugs, prayers and positive thoughts, Laureen

LOL - I'm still in my jammies and it's 3:11 p.m. - lol - I worked for a few hours, cooked for a couple of hours, then started cleaning the kitchen floor. I took a rest, and then I'll finish up and shower - LOL - love those jammies!
I made a dish with spaghetti squash....not too bad. On top of the spaghetti squash, I added pizza sauce and then mozzarella cheese and baked it for 20 minutes - YUM!
Have a great day.
Debbie
Try some ricotta cheese and oregano on the squash too. Yummy good. Rather like lasagna, without the heavy pasta.
Some weekends I never wear clothes. Shower and change into fresh jammies. As soon as we came home from the grocery store I changed into a snuggly pair of silver satin jammies with flannel lining.
