What's New Saturday
Gooooood Morning ! !
Here it is 1:30 ish and I'm wide awake. The neighbor upstairs was celebrating her 30th birthday last night. Went out on the town... woke me up fighting with her husband. Now I get the pleasure of listening to her barfing.... Hate apt living.....
Later today I'll be going to Seattle with my oldest granddaughter. She celebrated her 21 birthday last June and I celebrated my 61 last week. So jointly we are going on a shopping trip. I love being with her. She is so full of life and energy. She is in her senior year of college and doing very well. I've enjoyed watching her grow up and blossom into such a neat young lady. I still cannot get over her being able to drink wine with dinner..... lol
Had a luncheon with the health insurance man today. Sure was an eye opener regarding Long Term Care insurance. We have a policy on my mother and the four sisters pay for it. I'm looking into one for myself since watching my sister go through the mess with her illness.
Anyway, hope everyone is having a wonderful morning and looking forward to a wonderful day.

I hope you have a wonderful time shopping with your granddaughter. Isn't it wonderful watching them blossom into such beautiful young adults? I love shopping with my daughters and spending time with my grandchildren too! What blessings they are.

I'm up, showered, and dressed .....going to a Lutheran Women's Fall Rally this morning....have to leave home by 8 a.m.
Had yesterday off since I worked Thursday.....did some shopping, two loads of laundry, and cleaned the house.....I ought to do that daily, I lost a whole pound according to the scale this morning....LOL!
We are to get into the 60's on Monday, and hopefully I can get my garden and flower beds cleaned up for winter.....
Hoping for a sale at Margo's house, prayers for Judy's friend and everyone else who needs them. I really think we need to try and get to the bottom of why we don't hear from Linda and/or her daughter.....it really bothers me....it's not like her to stay off this board for this long...and why doesn't Olivia answer our calls and messages......really strange.
Best get a bite of breakfast now and it will be time to get on the road. Have a nice Saturday.

Good Sat Morning to all!
Oh the hubby is working today so are the kids. Going to have the whole day by myself. I have some cleaning to do and it seems I can go through the house quicker when no one is here. I have lost some weight ( finally) after a stall and am down to 190. I have a doctors appointment on Wed of this coming week. I have not a lot of weight , maybe 10 lbs. At least it is something.
All my prayers go to those who need them.
Nothing really new and nothing exciting. My husband said lets go to Bingo tonight. What? He finally wants to get off his butt and go somewhere? lol. I think he feels he will win the big one. I haven't been to bingo in 25 years. I am sure a lot has changed and I am going to be lost.

a friend of mine that went into have her panni removed yesterday died last night after surgery, blood clot. so so sad. she had just finally gotten her life back...she was 550 pounds to start and weighted 190 ...she said she needed to lose about 30 more pounds to be normal but we figured she might lose that much when she had her panni removed. She had a huge amount of skin. would like to ask everyone to pray for her husband and her many neices and nephews. she had no kids of her own but had several neices and nephews that loved her like she was their mom.

So sorry to hear about your friend. What a tragedy! Hope you don't mind me asking but did your friend post on the OH Plastic Surgery by any chance? I'm active there and know of a couple women who just went in for panni removal.
It seems odd to say this but it seems so much worse given she just overcame the hardest battle of losing weight and re-gained control of her life. My heart goes out to you and her family.
