My backward glance at the last two years. . .
Sandy, Thank you for your kind words and I will try to have someone take pictures of me in that dress tomorrow.

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Congrats, Laureen, you have come a long way. It's been a tough journey for you, because you had to deal with a job loss during it. That had to be depressing, and if that were me, I would have probably turned back to food for comfort (or a few beers ... and you have that issue, too). So good for you for staying away from both problems during your unemployment. I know that was really tough for you ... it would have been for me.
The key is seeing what you see in the mirror ... that person who you haven't seen before (or maybe in awhile), who you can say, "I look pretty in this dress" as you did. For me, I had never that person, and I had to say, "Who is that person, with that slim face and the skinny butt?" It's worth the work.
