How's the farm coming? Yup too early for this darn weather!

Gosh, all I can say is good luck on the house this week. I cooked my turkey breast for sandwiches while the family is here, so I don't have anything to swing anymore :( Sounds like a very productive day at work, maybe that will make the boss feel a little better about you?
Thanks everyone for all of the great comments and thumbs up on my news about the magazine photo shoot. I knew you all would be happy for me.
Today is the day the SILs arrive. Nothing left to be done here by me, Gary's in charge of mopping and vacuuming today and we're DONE! Yesterday, after I finished with all the cleaning, I cooked. Unfried refried beans for the nachos for Monday Night Football, the stuffed French toast casserole for breakfasts, and 2 batches of applesauce (about 12lbs of apples). Thank goodness today is finally here, I'm wiped out!
Well, I'm off to see if I can catch up with what you folks have been up to this week. I miss being around, but have been so busy. Sure wish we could solve the Linda S mystery. I'm as worried as the rest of you. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend filled with happiness!

Early birds for sure this morning - lol
I have my piano lesson today and need to practice for about an hour beforehand. Just couldn't get my fingers to work too well on this particular piece I'm working on. Other than that, it's supposed to rain all weekend. It's cold and damp too! Brrrr
Going to get my coffee now - a smidge of caffeine and the rest decaf. Just enough to give it some flavor since I prefer to drink my coffee black.
Take care of your foot Margo, and good luck with your house! Swinging a chicken for ya - lol

My friend Angela asked me to come sample some of the appetizers she plans to serve for her Mom's 100th birthday party. I wasn't much help with tasting. 3 tiny appetizers and I was stuffed.
Any suggestions for a gift? I am thinking to make a donation in her name. She was a school teacher for decades if that helps.
