Good morning OFF friends,

I thought I would start the thread this morning.  It's rainy and damp here in PA. 

Upcoming funness - lol - I bought my ticket for the NY conference and I'm really looking forward to it.

Breakfast:  Cream of Wheat

Lunch:  Refried beans

Dinner:  Talapia and carrots.

Snack:  Cheese stick

Hi Debbie,

Too early for me to think about todays menu so I'll post yesterdays.

Start:   Protein Powder
Breakfast: Oatmeal
Lunch: Chicken kabobs (w/peppers, onion, zucc, tomatoes), 1/2 cup rice and beans
Snack: Fiber One cereal w/ Soy Milk and 1/2 apple
Snack: Protein Powder
Dinner: it was kind of late so just had a protein meal shake and honeydew melon

Not sure what I'll do for lunch and dinner today.....

Yum!  Your chicken kabobs sound scrumptuous!  I'll have to try making some of those!

S: walnuts
S: apple
L: Eye of round, WW dinner roll, 2 pats of butter
S: Twisted Protien bar
D: going out today with hubby, probably fish of somekind, veggies
S: V-8 juice
S: apple or banana

D-fish (crappie's) and small salad w/cheese and veggies

I was happy to start the thread.  It hasn't been the same with Lovely Linda not starting the thread, so I thought I would try and give some normalcy back to OFF with this thread.  I always enjoyed it as it was the first thing I read in the morning.

I like your snack of banana and nuts.  I haven't had a banana yet.  I guess it's time I start introducing new things.

 I'm trying to get my weight off... and keep my hypoglycemia in check.  Mixing up my proteins seems to be helping.....  hope it doesn't just seem that way.

I've read that mixing protein up and exercise too for that matter gives weight reduction a boost.  Glad it's helping!  Keep up the good job!

Good morning everyone and thanks for starting us off Debbie.  I have another prospective tenant coming this morning and a little housekeeping to do before she gets here.  At least I hope so, last two didn't show or call.  And I need groceries and the dog needs a bath before my hair appointment this afternoon.

My attorney and I have been working on a grievance letter to the Board of Directors of my former employer.  I'm maintaining anticipation of good things and gratitude but sure will appreciate when this matter is finally settled.

We are supposed to get some rain on Monday so I have some firewood to cover and I plan to get some live music and dance therapy in this weekend.  Congrats to President Obama on his Nobel Peace Prize.
