Hi everyone. I know most of you have done this before. It is my first time. When do you send your gift to your secret pal. Can you explain a little more detail for me. I am trying to be more computer literate...lol

the actual "reveal" date is nov 20--so by then you should tell your pal who you are but mean time keep it secret! it's fun to drag it out over the almost two months time-
or-not--most of us will drag it out with teasers-e cards greeting cards emails -that kind of thing--and often we'll post on here when we have rec'd something from our pal also...make sit fun to know something was rec'd....
what other questions do you still have? i'm heading to work very soon-long hours- but could answer tonite or tomorrow...or someone else can jump in too...

Does it matter when you send their gift. Do you do it after you reveal and closer to Christmas. I don't see that on the web site.
I feel embarassed asking these questions. But, I really don't know!

the idea of a gift is a bonus-the fun of the game is in teasing them and showing someone cares about them...and a"gift" could be one item or a whole buncha little items! something handmade is always appreciated! - a book or a towel or note cards or a store gift card or a piece of jewelry or a holiday ornament- or or or ....read the person's profile on elfster- ask them annonymous questions thru the site-
if you do send a gift; i would suggest it is sent at the time of your "reveal"...example- a gift and a card saying who is actually the secret pal-you!

mary-an example -my secret pal took the time to set up an extra secret email acct somewhere - i think yahoo-and has sent me some absolutely darling ecards!! it does take effort to do that and i appreciate it!!makes me know she is there caring!
i also love snail mail ....many of us in this age range do,i think!
and a wrapped package-OMG-even if it's a pack of sf gum-a wrapped package can drive some folks nuts..well-me anyways!!
