I have to say good afternoon instead of good morning...  It's a beautiful cool day on Long Island.  It is sunny and in the 60's today.  I was up early cleaning and vacuuming. I went out to Petco to get cat food and I went to the cleaners to pick up my winter coat.  When I got there I found out that the cleaners in closed on Monday.  I hate wasting gas!  Now I just made a big pot of stuffed cabbage for my husband.  It smells delicious!  Finally I will be going out to Meat Farms to get deli and produce with my daughter in a little while.  I hope that all of you are having a great day!

Good Evening Everyone,

I'm on a dinner break here at work and so I had a few minutes to stop by and catch up on those of you that posted today. . .

Go Yankee George, even though I live in NJ, I live below the point of what is considered a Yankee, which I find hysterical, but a New York gal is what I am and always will be proud to be and so my sports teams, even if the Mets had a really, really disappointing year, will always be the Mets and the Jets, no matter that I live in Phillie land and Eaglesville. . .  Sanchez has a lot of promise and hopefully he learned from what mistakes he made yesterday, at least if they had to lose one, they lost it to a really good team, now let's hope Sanchez pulls a good game next week!  Congrats on your little wager winning.

Margo, I must have been in my teens when my Mom told me exactly what her wishes were when it came to her end, at the time I did not want to hear it, but we had that conversation through the years and so I knew exactly what had to be done and in reality it made things rather easy, hard to believe that next Tuesday she will be gone 8 years. . .  hopefully, Michael will be here a long time, there are certainly many people offering their prayers and positive wishes for you and Michael.  Like Susan, I wish I could come and give you a hug, but I'm sending you my best wishes and you know if you ever need me, I'm at the other end of the telephone. . .

To the rest of my friends, it was nice to see you all today.  Seems like some have been missing lately, but then I'm not here everyday and sometimes miss who posts, but haven't seen Peg In Red, KarenBoomer, where's Janet been hiding?  Linda ?  Then there is a host of folks I have not seen in ages, some are on Facebook, so I know they are well, but it would be nice to hear from them anyway. . .

Ok, back to work, don't know how late it will be, but I'm geared for it and back to it.

Take care all, Laureen
