going home today
Well the heart has finally setteled. I need to check my rate every 4 hours - if lower than 65 I need to hold my Diltelzem. In two weeks I will tirtrate up to my normal does.
I am down to 201 today. The hospital did not communcate well with the kitchen - I am on cream of wheat and yogurt here - that is all i can get right now. I am drinking coffee but no BM. I am looking forward to going home - should be after lunch today.
This has been a long 4 days.
My left side hurts the worse - they said that is normal. I don't want to take more pain meds. I hope to take tylenol instead. the pain meds make me feel dizzy and out of sorts.
I hope the rest of the week will prove me getting stronger.
More when I get home.
Thank you for all your prayers - keep it cmoinmg.

Hi Linda
I stopped the pain meds - it really does not hurt. I am just feeling torn up. The ride home was a bit much. I got motion sickness but made it without event until I got home. I was concerned about no BM so I took a sip of Phillips - almost lost it with that one.
I don't want to mess this up and not do all the right things. I am sipping every 15 min. I am adding a chicken broth and a protein bullet to sip as well. The bullet is a bit much in taste right now. This morning I added 1/2 cup of protein drink - that got things moving!!!
Now Michael might have the flu - this is not good.
And I am so cold too.
more later
peace
