OT---Gordman's?

A Gordman's dept store just opened here in Little Rock. Anyone ever shop there?? Is it worth checking out??

I guess(from their Information Page on their website) they have been around for a long time.

After spending a couple of hours in their new store, I will certainly be back. The employees were all curtious, the shelves well stocked, and the selection of everything from clothes to candles to potato peelers was great.

I wasn't shopping for clothes, just some decorator things to add to the house before the in-laws come, so I really just glanced through them. I saw quite a few things that I would have bought, and even some that I will tell Tess about. The prices are wonderful, but not having tried anything on, don't know about quality. BUT, it is what I can afford, and the styles are current and cute. It's all about CUTE, after all.

If I were the type to shop at Dillard's or Nordstrom's, (ahhhh, those days are LONG gone) I probably wouldn't shop there, but there isn't anything I love more than a bargan!

i checked out their home site as well- we don't have in ohio so i'll never know....

having worked for both dillard's and kaufman's--i only shopped because of the discount! loved the stuff but tres overpriced!

ya know--i still have a grage full of stuff still-probly have whatever you are wanting for the sil's!!! ah well- i tried!

I had my Dillards, Macy's and Nordie days back when Gary practiced law. I could say "the good old days", but frankly, I'm much happier shopping for deals instead of "keeping up with the Jones'".

I'm bummed about the centerpiece I bought that didn't make it home in one piece. My fault, didn't take care where I put it in the trunk. Oh well.

still hurts- didn't have it propped high enough at work-probly won't be any better tomorrow but i'll live---but it's healing...sat still too long too so hard to get moving-- got the third degree from co workers and a bit of cold shoulder- not comfy-and bossman wants to "discuss at length" my absenteeism...i think it floored him that i took a dr note in before he asked for it...i only got this thru email- if i'm lucky won't be a face to face; i think it wa sthe obligatory warning...
need the paycheck-not the aggravation....

OMGosh... I adore Gordmans, such a fun store. You can get your favorite fragrances ..purses..I love holiday stuff, and decor andkitchen stuff, they have a great kitchen ware section. It is one of my favorite stores, cant remember the parent store but it was good one. Prices are good, sales great. I never found their stuff cheap..
