Spent a weekend with 2 Dallas Sistahs!!

Linda Barnett and I attended the Dallas OH Conference and TerryT was there.  Great time, learned a lot, great hotel, great WLS friendly food, Starbucks coffee, great vendors, good drawings, lot of prizes ( I won jewelry), great goody bag, LOTS of good information.

Renewed and wired again.  You can't beat it!!

PS... I was George's wife for the weekend.... Mary couldn't go because she was home sick.  I got her ticket.

It was a great time.  And my date is a real nice gal.  She is what you dream of in a wife.  We walked in together and split.  LOL.  Not intentionally, I just had a spare ticket since Mary couldn't go and Janet didn't have one.  Happy to help out.

The conference was pretty good.  I will let Janet tell you about Mary Jo, as I will probably blush if I try.

To me, Chef Dave was the best.  Tips about shopping.  Tips about stuff good to eat.  I never look at calories or sugar or fat.  I jus****ch my weight.  I love custard style yogurt.  I did not realize it has more calories than Hagen Das ice cream.  Guess I will just have to keep Hagen Das in the house.

There was a fitness guy who was pretty good.  And Funny.

I had never heard Bo before, he is an excellent emcee for the conference. 

George, I hope Mary is getting better. I missed out a fun function this weekend also because of the crub. Mine so far "just" seems to be cold,ears, sinus and sore throat. Keeping my fingers crossed that it subsides quickly and that I am much better by this coming Sunday when I board a plane for Italy.

Mary's might not be the swine flu, but maybe a strand of the flu.  Regardless, she is just drained. 

Where are you going in Italy?  I was stationed in Naples for three years and Comiso for one.

George, We're starting in Milan/Lake Como area, then Venice, Florence, and Rome. Three days each with 2 organized days and one on our own. Any ideas for places in those areas other than the tourist ones that I'm sure the tour will hit?

Be careful with her. Even if it's the regular flu, a former coworker's sister died Friday of the regular flu (first they thought it was the swine flu, then it was Type A flu, or whatever it's called). She did have heart problems, and also waited too long to get help. I hope Mary is resting and taking it easy.
