Favorite protein bars??

Recently someone posted a protein bar that they love. Can't remember what it was called. I think perhaps it was Susan?I need to pick some up for the trip as I'm not taking shake powder along. Costco's Premier bars are good and I have a few but they are really rich and I'd like to take a variety with me. Taking jerky, peanut butter, cheese and crackers. Also Crystal light to add to my water. I've been using the Calcium Crystals which I love but instead of taking any "white powder" on the plane I'll take tablets for the trip.

 

i absolutely love payday pro-candy turned me onto them in dallas the 1st gtg--but they are becoming hard to find after the peanut scare....

do you know that designer whey makes travel pouches of protein? costly-about $1.79 each but a good way to take protein powder-and good tasting-orange/mango...pomegranate something and chocolate... very well labeled on the individual pouch so no questions at the airport....

Margo, Where have you found the Payday Pro bars? I'm looking to take a variety.

that's been the problem-used to get them at walmart and rite aid and a few grocery stores-now they aren't really anywhere-and hershey swears they are still being sold.....

These are very good but can't find them in Nebraska anymore either.  Used to get them at Walmart or my grocery store.

Hi Karen.......For the past few months I have been eating ZONE bars.....the double dark chococlate flavor is my very favorite, and I buy them 3 or 4 boxes at a time at WalMart.

Good luck finding something that you really love the flavor.

I like the South Beach Cereal Bars - they come in Peanut Butter, Cinnamon & Raisin, and Chocolate.  They are 140 calories, 10 gm. of protein.  Wal Mart carries them - they are $2.98 for six bars.

I still like the Power Crunch bars, the Triple Chocolate are my favorite.

I really like the Oh Yeah Protein Bars. I buy them at Nutrition Depot or at Vitamin Shoppe. I also have ordered them at Bariatric Eating and I think a website called Netrition (purposeful misspell). I refrigate them so not sure how they would travel.
