Good morning all.  I have started this out in a week or so, so I figured I would.

Things are going pretty good here, outside of I just realized it will be hard to watch all the shows I want to watch this week.  I am DVRing a bunch, but my normal catch up days are Friday and Saturday nights.  Well, I have a little thing called an OH Conference this Friday and Saturday.  So, who knows how much I will watch and when.

This evening, the only show I got to see was Accidently On Purpose.  Humorous.  Just not sure I like some of the lines being used at that early an hour.  Just like Two and a Half Men uses jokes that really don't belong on TV before 9PM our time.

The Rangers won tonight.  Good game pitched by Millwood.  Too little too late.

This weekend, besides the OH Conference, on Sunday I have the last game of the year at home for the Rangers.

Not much else going on here.  What's new with you?

Good morning, kind sir! Yes, the new TV schedule is always rough at first, until they shake out the rotten ones(why do so many stay on, then?). After the baseball season is over your schedule will have something to replace it with and you can catch up on the DVR stuff.

I don't like being up this early, Sam I am, I don't like it one bit.

Rain, rain and MORE rain all this week. A big thunderstorm rumbled through around midnight, and because I had to get up early and worried that the power would go out, I stayed awake until it passed. Please don't ask why I don't have a battery backed up clock, that's WAY too logical.....lol Besides, I usually don't go to the salon before 9-10, so I seldom use the alarm clock.  Today I have a client at 8:00 and will be there until around 7:00 tonight.  The only thing more overrated than self-employment is natural childbirth.

I ran myself ragged yesterday. No sense calling it a day off, it was just a day I didn't go to the salon, or get paid for the work I did. But....there's food in the house, clean bedding, including mattress pad and comforter, casseroles and  fresh applesauce in the fridge, and beauty supplies to work with. So....all in all a good, but tiring day.

Better get moving. Hope you all have a wonderful and successful day. Love ya!

Susan

I got lucky.  My computer at my primary job let me watch a couple of the CBS comedies on line before I went home.  I watched the rest when I got home.  At 6PM tonight I will get to watch CSI Miami on my phone.  Followed by the NCIS's.

Hi everyone...

I have a flu shot appoinment this morning.   Then off to Aldi's..  ( a little budget grocery store here in Ohio)  I have a long day I think.  I hate coming home and putting everything away.

Just heard I might get the opportunity to go to Florida over Christmas.  It will be the first time I won't celebrate with my family.   And, first time for a vacation.   We never go anywhere.   No money.   My in laws own a condo in Ft Meyers and they are driving down in Dec and asked if we wanted to go.   It should be very affordable to do it this way.  We can share the bills of gas and food.

Nothing else new, I wish there was...)

Oh, I gained three lbs and now I lost two of them.  I wish I know what I did wrong to gain the weight.   Now I have to really try and keep ahead of everything.  I am writing everything I stick in my mouth down.

Well, have a happy day everyone

Good morning George and OFF friends,

Hey, George, have fun at the OH Conference this weekend.  I'm seriously thinking about going to the one in NY in October.  I have my room reserved, but haven't bought my ticket yet....hoping DH will be able to get away with me, although he can do his own thing while I'm at the conference - lol

Nothing much happening here today.  Working and then off for a yearly GYN appointment.  It's rainy/damp here today.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Debbie

We are fortunate, we live about 15-20 miles from the Conference site.  The hotel is too expensive for my taste.  It is in a glitzy neighborhood.  So we will commute.  We will be arriving early on Friday to sit in the lobby and meet people that we know.

Being able to go to Florida is great.  My wife and I never took vacations when I was in the military, you always took your leave to visit family because you were out of the country for 2 or 3 years.  And while I was out of the country, I never really took much vacation time.  I should have, but I didn't.  Our first real vacation was about 8 years ago when we went to Vegas for the first time.  Since then, we have taken a couple of trips to Louisiana.  This year we will be going to Branson.  Once Margo gets settled in Hawaii we hope to visit.  And we have already discussed taking another trip to Vegas this year (it will be our third time).  I love Vegas, and it isn't the gambling.  I make sure I have $200 to gamble, sure.  But I am amazed at the hotels and even more amazed by the public transportation.  We hopped on the city bus last time just to ride around.  Of course we found a scrapbooking store.

Good morning all,

There are two problems with being a support group leader.

#1 - I am so hyped after the meeting that I can't get to sleep. All those smiling faces, the laughter, shared stories, even some struggles, are amazing! Not such a bad thing

#2 - Then the selfish part - I don't seem to get in time for my own problems.

Today I am going to attend an Overeaters Annonymous (sorry but can't spell correctly) meeting. That might help.

Annette,
Cathy has the leader group via phone for that. Your able to discuss your own concerns. I'm not sure when the next call in is you might want to check with her.

You can check on the leader board also...
Women are angels.
...and when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly...on a broomstick.

We are flexible.
