Good morning Sunshine.
Doing better today, I know I have been in your thoughts and prayers and so much appreciate it.
This weekend was really bad on computer time and food.
I have not had an omelet since Friday.
Saturday breakfast and lunch was a breakfast toaster from Sonic. I have a bacon, egg and cheese toaster, cut the crust off. Then when I get the sandwich, the top piece of bread goes in the trash so as not to tempt me to eat it.
Late Saturday afternoon I had a 6" Sub from a new sandwich shop in town. Saturday night went out to eat with the Texas Message Board and Mary and I split a quesedilla.
Sunday, ate 2 mini breakfast tacos on the way to the ball game. Had bacon and egg.
Lunch was one Arby's regular, throw away the top of the bun.
Supper was turkey leftover from Friday at Boston Market. Also had a couple of yogurts.
No cheese since Thursday night/Friday morning shift. Missed it, asked Mary to dice some up for me. So I will get back on that kick tonight.
Weight is still steady, I guess that is what counts.
Have a great day.

George! I have missed you and thought about you,and I pray for you and your family. I also think about your son and his family and pray for them to hold it together,I know it is hard.
My weight is too low again. I like the new protein drink I bought,so that should help,it makes me feel better. Every day I plan my menu,I take a few bites, and BLAH,that's all she wrote.
I have had a few dumps too,but feel better now. Smile...sounds like you miss your regular food,I understand this.
It is great to hear from you, blessings to you and your sweet Mary.

Good morning to you, my sweet Linda. I pray for your situation....I know it is hard having someone with bi-polar. My cousin has 2 or his 3 kids with it and he has some rough times with them. I am keeping your family in prayers too, as you already know.
It is cold to me this morning...I am cold to the bone. It is suppose to be in the 70's today with some really high winds and then tomorrow is going to be int he mid 50's. Quite a difference from the 85 of yesterday. After tomorrow the weather is going to stay in the 60's for the rest of the week. I guess such is the weather of spring. I just want steady mid 70's to 80's for 365 days of the week. I am not asking for much.......but someone must think so.
My Misty is getting into things big time this morning......she started that last night after we went to bed. I am afraid what is going to happen when Bill is here with alone. He looks for things that she gets into and must become blind when he looks since he misses things. She had gotten into the rose we had for Kayden yesterday for church. We heard the bang after we went to bed and he got up to look. He came back and said that he didn't see anything. This morning here laid the rose and vase on the floor with the water soaked into the rug. Misty is going to love me not being here for a few days. She is such a furmonster.......a spoiled one that is rotten to the bone! She just stares at me when I find the things she gets in to. It is like she is daring me to do something. I just tell her that she is a bad girl and then off she struts to get into something new! OHHHHH how frustrating! I feel like hanging her from a sky hook!
As you know food for today is going to be what it is.....not much! I am hungry but isn't that the way it goes? When you can't have something you want it!
Have a great day and know that you and yours remain in my prayers. I know that God will take care of you all. Yes......thank God for grands that can help us with things that we need. God has plans when he sends them to us. I am sending love and hugs to you........and don't forget to smile!

Brenda, you can bet Misty is going to act out while you are gone!! Men have selective eyesight along with memory, smile. Did you see the baby?
My grands are good, they are supposed to walk Pookie and they get paid for it. I hate having to ask everyday, and I am going to check out dog walkers. I am going to have a sit down with them and tell them I should not have to ask them everyday.
The dog walker will be a problem because I will be upstairs for my recovery and have a locked gate.
There is just one problem after the other. I would give her to my ex for the time I can not get around at all,but I do not trust his Russian wife not to mistreat her.
I pray for you. Take care.

Linda,
I think I missed something while I was computerless...what surgery are you having?
Yesterday when I visited Mom, she told me she wants to go home (but she doesn't remember where home is). "I'm so bored," she said. "No one here has more than a 3rd-grade education." I guess her inner snob is still alive and well...
B: chai tea protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: leftover pork rib, orange & avocado salad
S: cheese stick
D: green salad with shrimp, white bean skordilia (white beans pureed with garlic, lemon juice, and tahini)
S: SF pudding

Hi Jean,I am glad you saw your mom,I know that is not always easy. I am looking at a knee replacement for my right knee. I will know more next Tuesday. I have needed it for years, now the weight is gone, and it is time. Maybe it will be the start of not so much pain and meds, and eventually being able to go to work.
If you hear someone clucking it is me,I am a total chicken!

Good Morning Lovely Linda!!!!!
You continue in my thoughts and prayers daily!!
Glad to hear you are following through with your phone calls today.
Kyleigh went to school Thursday and Friday last week and got up and went again this morning....I am so happy I could cry...I did cry!!
The doctors are pretty sure Kyleigh is Bi-polar as it runs in her father's side of the family. They are trying not to label her with it until they are absolutely 100% sure. Kyleigh will be going to a residential facility as soon as the paperwork is completed. There she will be tested and tested again to be sure.
You of all people know how these highs and lows work and that this good mood of Kyleigh's might not last too long.We appreciate the good times!!
My prayers are always with Olivia ...Bless her heart! The struggles you all go through and how you handle it is amazing.
B-2 hard boiled eggs
S-protein bar
L-calico beans
D-turkey thigh and cauliflower, broccoli and baby carrots
S- fruit
Much love and lots of gentle hugs....Boo....to you!

Connie,YOU are amazing, and my hero. Olivia is trying very hard, thank God,going to therapy, taking meds (still does not fix it),and she has been on so many med tries, she has physical reactions to them.
Your family is going through so much,I think of you and pray for you every day.
I understand what you mean about the good times indeed. The lack of consistancy, always waiting for the other shoe.
That's why I must count on myself, and set myself up for survival, which isn't too bad,I hope and pray...smile.
Olivia's problems started earI y,and she was a cutter, still can make me cry.
I love you Boo!

Howdy everyone,
A good mix of productivity and pleasure this weekend. Productivity was gardening and more gardening, fixing the irrigation, weeding, pruning, dividing plants. Still much to do but it looks a little better out there. Met friends for dinner on Friday. Saturday evening was a musical about the life and times of blues singer Big Mama Thornton. And Sunday evening was a movie on TV called The Notebook. I've seen it a couple of times before and still love it. Kept so busy that I didn't have time to graze in the kitchen. Need to buckle down at work this week though.
B coffee/protein bar
L chili con carne
s apple and bell peppers
D not sure yet
Big hugs to all, especially those with upcoming surgeries, CV Linda
