Awwww  tis Saturday! I am going to attempt some house work, even if I gotta scoot around in my chair, which I will. I have to get organized for when I have surgery and really can not get around!
B- New protein shake called Revival with real strawberries and it's own shaker jar,it is cute and tastes good,I bought the sample box, which has 8,free shipping 20 bucks covers all charges and darn if they did not Fedex it,and I can keep just buying the sample box, which fits my budget.
L- Chefs salad D-Steak and cottage cheese (I am addicted to cottage cheese)!
May your day be merry and bright!

I understand the cottage cheese addiction. If we don't have at least 3 containers in the fridge, I get nervous. It is a healthy addiction.

I'm working on small areas like my desk and make-up drawers today. The two areas have merged into one - what a mess.

Sample boxes are easier to store too. That's another plus. Yumm - strawberries. Strawberry

Hiya sis,I am trying to get this place organized and cleaned inch by inch.
There have been so many days of tossing things asside and using all my energy just to go to work.
Now I must prepare for survival through recuperation.
I pray and hope. I am so alone, but I guess it is supposed to be this way,it is part of my personality or mental illness that I do not have friends around I guess.
I do plan to join the senior citizens citizens and socialize there.
I sometimes think everything was thrown into work and working with so many people, has replaced my having other relationships.
I dunno, but I am looking forward to going to the center if I am old enough, and maybe networking, finding people who know people who can help with a little pay.
I am just starting this process,so I have to find what they may have, hey,I may qualify for meals on wheels,if not,I am sure I can manage my cottage cheese and protein drinks.I put the protein drinks on auto refill as I know people who use them, and they do not jump up on the price, and always email first. They have other products so I will have to investigate.
Hugs,dear sis.

Linda,

Today my husband is cooking a turkey breast on the grill.  I cannot eat turkey breast since my WLS (dark meat poultry is OK, white meat is not OK), and he knows this, but the turkey breast was on sale and he just had to buy it.  I'm going to make a spicy Asian-style peanut sauce to go with it in the hope that the sauce will help the turkey slide through my stoma.

B: chai tea protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: corned beef, cabbage, carrots
S: cheese stick
D: turkey w/ peanut sauce, gingered asparagus
S: SF pudding

Somehow I missed the part of you planning for surgery.  What kind and why?  Did you ever find out how the metal piece got into your head?  You are on my mind and heart Linda, take care and God bless you!

I have only been told I will have knee surgery,I will keep you posted.
I pray a lot,thank you Joy.

Good morning sweet Linda. I hope that today is great for you.

Today is going to be a day of getting things ready to go for Monday. I have tests at the hospital to get (blood and a ekg) and packing things so I don't have to do it Sunday. I have to be at the hospital Monday at 7 a.m. and ready to go. I have a long day at the church tomorrow so that limits time tomorrow to get things ready. I did some shopping last night for things for Bill to eat. All the stuff I had here and what I bought last night should see him through. He won't eat that much while I am gone since he isn't much on cooking. That is why I got him mostly frozen things that he can throw into the microwave.

Food today is up in the air. I will keep it good but what I am not sure. Probably mostly the things that I seem to always eat. I am a creature of habit so sometimes that works well for me. ha ha

I better go. I am sending love and hugs to you, my fine friend. I was not aware that you were having surgery.....so what is it and when is it? I am keeping you in prayers and know that I care more than you will ever know. You are a special part of my life......I feel the connection to you. There are some that I have that and others I don't. I know that you know what I am talking about. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile that pretty smile that you have.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
