OT: Our trip
michael and i are flying to Panama the end of May for 8 days-
car rental seems to be a nightmare since i don't have a "real" credit card with $500-700 open credit---but plane tickets were a great price! passports..well- gotta have em!
the area we are staying in for the most of the trip is called volcan (pronounced boll can) and has a climate very similar to that of the big island at about 3500 ft....volcan is at 4500 ft..in the chiriqui region (western end of the country by costa rica).we'll stay near Panama City the last nite as our flight is at 10 am on saturday....
downside is we are going during "winter" -the rainy season ...so it should be sunny and nice in the mornings and then rain in the afternoons from what we are told!
i need to do some tanning pre trip so i don't burn! and my boss is letting me have the time off-albeit with no pay-ouch!!!!!!!!!
i wish i had not made the commitment to go to this DAR thing this weekend due to this trip-however - i only had to pay for my meals and clothing-my gf is paying gas and our hotel (she was going whether or not i did!).and i'll have fun if it kills me!
so-pennies are being pinched around here!!!
the passport comment was actually a few weeks ago i think and the panama one was just the other day...
oh-for the record- i habla no espanol!!!!! yet!!!!!!!!!!!!
and connie-you make me smile too!!!!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
