Monday again. I am trying to work with my appetite. I was not able to follow my Sunday menu. My appetite goes away when I do not feel well.
B- Gonna try some grits and Cheese L- Cottage Cheese D- Strawberry Shake
If I can do better with the food,I will. This is when I try to remember nothing is written in stone. I will drink lots!
We are not robots.
I am going to do the best I can,is anyone with me???

We just do our best and try to listen to the body. One day at a time, one meal at a time. Planning ahead is a good idea but sometimes the plans need to change and be flexible.

I "planned" to eat chicken for dinner last night. After two bites it was a NO WAY. Chicken has been a staple for months but not last night. I ate two cups of popcorn for dinner. 1/2 hour later I drank a big glass of Crystal Light - all was good.

Was that a healthy choice? - NOPE, didn't care. Will I make that a habit? - Heck No.

See, I understand. We are human.

Annette,the healthiest choice I could make today,and that was at 2PM,and no food so far,was a few Satines and some cottage cheese,it was that,or try to take meds on an empty stomach,which would me dump like a sick dog.
I am comfortable with my choice,my only sadness being that I am now out of cottage cheese.
I am sure nothing else would have stayed down,and the cheese alone would not have been dense enough to protect my stomach from getting ill. I am drinking lots of water,
Not all days are perfect. C'est la vie.
I am doing the best I can,and trying to fight depression.
God is with me,and yes,I am human.

good morning linda and annette

i hear you both, some days just dont go as planned

ive been going thru my love hate relationship with "real" food again.  By that I
mean meat, veggies , like a real meal.

so ive been trying to eat other protein choices that are good and to keep the
snacking at bay.

yesterday was good  i had a banana and peanuts for breakfast

lunch was a small piece of cold chicken which didnt feel that good going down, and a
protein bar

hubby made ham and scrambled eggs for supper of which i ate very little

i had a skinny cow ice cream later and a few pretzels and lots of crystal ligth

im trying, really i am.

Jacki,you did your best,what else is there? We must listen to our bodies or we are just as locked in and punished as we ever were before WLS.

Here I am!! The weekend was so chaotic I didnt make it here to post, but today is thebeginning of a new week !!

B- Cottage cheese w splenda and cinnamon
L- Protein Shake
s- Roast pork and a small salad.
S- sugar free pudding

Ive been drinking more water recently and that seems to help my appetite. I drank 2 bottles during the night! Whats up with that??
Oh well, its all good!

Good morning Linda and everyone else.  I've been trying to motivate myself to get on a healthy eating program, but it's been very difficult.  Gosh, the way the months are flying by, it's unreal.  Why can't they go by this quickly when I'm trying to lose weight? 

Next month is my surgical consult.  I'm continuing to attend the clinical weight loss center's program each month, and the support group meetings. 

I wish everyone a pleasant Monday with lots of good health and happiness to each of you and your families/loved ones.

Linda....I am with you sweetie!!

I am driving down to St. Paul to take Kyleigh to a doctors appointment as Carrie has an important meeting she can't miss.

Yesterday ended up being a bad day...didn't start out that way but ended badly.

B-Boost Protein Shake
L-pork roast w/ mushroom sauce
D-??? at Carrie's
S- whatever I need

I'm sorry you had a bad day yesterday.  I hope today makes up for it.  I hope that Kyleigh is doing well.  How sweet of you to take her to the appointment.
