Hi Susan and my OFF family:
Susan, I have been in menopause now for three years and am on HRT patches; every year, like clockwork, in April I get some bleeding. It's always a cervical polyp. Mr. Polyp, as I call him, has to be removed yearly ... he's never been cancerous, fortunately. Usually, my yearly exam is in April, so we check that out then. However, this year, the doctor's office forgot to have me fill out a reminder card when I checked out last year. So the only reminder I got was for my bone density exam. So when I called to make that appointment, I tried to make my gyne checkup ... however, now I can't get in until August. Hopefully, I won't have any more bleeding; if I do, I'll call and try to get in before August. And then I have to get my prescription renewed too ... before August! Aaargh! I was pretty peeved at the office person I spoke to, who said it was my responsibility to ask for a reminder card. And I said to her, "I have to do your job, too?" She didn't like that.
It's raining here and chilly ... 50 degrees. Oh well, we had three really nice days, so I can't complain. No big plans ... laundry, litter boxes, baseball, reading, just relaxing. Two more days of vacation and then back to work.
Well, I need to move things around in the washer ... it's unbalanced ... kind of like me, I guess.
