Just got a call from the Dr. office

Well, I had my echo stress test and mamo this morning.  This afternoon the cardiac office called me and said that the stress test was read as abnormal and that the cardiologist wants to see me Friday.  I'm getting so close to getting a surgery date.  I meet with the surgeon next Wednesday.  I sure hope this stress test doesn't interfere with my surgery.  Now I'm really worried.  It's been such a long road and now there's another pot hole in it.  Please say some prayers that the stress test results don't show anything major.  I want and need the WLS!!

Jani...Sorry 'bout your "pot holes" too.  But all these tests have to be done b/4 we are accepted for surgery and like Mary said, another reason why you need to have WLS.   I will pray that things fall into place for you.  Chin up and don't get down.  It is important to see that everything is okay for the surgeon to do this surgery.

I am so sorry you are experiencing these "pot holes".  It is frustrating, and I truly understand, had a few here too.  But, when we do get to surgery it will be with a strong medical team *****ally understands the particular needs and concerns in regard to our care.  I bet you get the go ahead, and that this proves to be just another strong reason why you must have surgery.  Prayers, why of course!!!  I majored in prayer, and seriously I will pray for you.  Let us know when you get back from your appointment on Friday.  I'd love to see a post in answer to those prayers for you.  Then we'll do the happy dance together.

I'd love to be doing the happy dance with you and all the others who send up prayers for me.  As we get older I think we depend on them more.

As others said before, it's better that they found this out before than after ... which is why they do the stress test before surgery. Now they can correct what's wrong and go from there. You might have to wait a while longer, but you'll be healthier, and that'll make you stronger for surgery.

Don't worry ... that'll only make it worse (of course, I'd be worrying right and left). I know it's hard to wait (I waited nearly a year), but it will be better in the long run if you're healthy.
