What's new today...Thursday
Have a super time and let us know what you saw and got to do. I wish we could have an overseas vacation. I guess our cruise around South America in Dec. 07 will have to do for now. We've had to give up our yearly 'super trips.' None last year with my mom's death and coping with all the care and responsibility for my dad, etc. None this year cuz we're finishing our basement so we can sell...hopefully...and get a house built in AZ. Definitely need the money if we get stuck with 2 mortgages. 
Perhaps next year we'll have our New Zealand trip; it's been planned and cancelled so many times, I'm wondering if we are simply not meant to ever get there. It's raining and snow probably this afternoon...ugh, but we badly need the moisture. This afternoon I'm picking up my granddaughter from day care and we're going to have a girls' night out...supper and the Hannah Montana movie. I've even got my sparkly back pocket jeans on. 
Anything glittered is a hit with my little one. Hope y'all have a super day.

Good morning, Linda and my fellow OFFer's. Hope that today is all that you wish for it to be. And more on top of that!
Linda, have a fantastic time on your trip. I would love to travel but in a way I hate leaving my little home. Maybe some day it will happen.
I didn't go to the library yesterday as planned. I got to the point that I was so tired I couldn't hardly stand it. I think it is the stress of all that has been going on around here with the baby. I will be so glad when this whole thing is over and done with. Now I sound just like Carol, that is what she has been saying for about a month. I am planning on going to the library today. I will just be moving the yesterday plans to today, that is all. No problem with that, since we need to be flexible through life at times.
We went and signed the lease for another year. I was plesantly surprised that the rent just went up $15.00 this year. That is nothing compared to what it could have went up. I hope that next year we may be able to move back to Chesterton. We were talking about living there on Monday and we both want to do that. I love Chesterton since it is so close to my family and that is my home. I always say that you can take the girl out of Chesterton but you can't take Chesterton out of the girl.
It is beautiful here today and is suppose to be for the next couple of days. It is already 57 and it is just 11:00. The sun is shining and the patio door is open some and I hear the birds just singing a lovely song. I do so love the sounds of spring. It is music to my ears and there is no other season that has the same sounds.

Hi Linda and my OFF family:
I'm getting on here really late today. Spent the whole day at the community yard sale and made a whole $26 ... well, $16 when you subtract the $10 for the booth space. Oh well, it's more than I would have made sitting home and I got rid of some junk. We can't have garage sales in the condo complex (condo police rules), so this is the only way I could get rid of my junk. It's a beautiful day for this ... I took an inside spot because in April in Michigan, you never know.
But I've been up since 7 a.m. and my knee is hurting something horribly. I'm hungry (they did have some food ... had a potluck but I need to bring some cheese cubes tomorrow to snack on).
I'm tired and need to ice my knee and get some real food into my tummy. And then I get to do this again tomorrow. Hopefully, we'll have more shoppers tomorrow. I was going to look through my junk to see if there was anything more I had, but I'm too beat ... I just want to put up my feet and have a beer.
Linda, I want to see pictures when you get back ... sounds like a great trip.

George, glad the Rangers finally won one for you ... the Sox sure stunk it up yesterday for me. Hopefully, they can turn that around tonight.
