Hello Everybody,
How is everybody? I am so happy with my band---This is a different person writing than when I wrote the last time. I was at rhe doctor yesterday and I had lost 18 pounds in two weeks. All the worrying and fright is gone. This is so much easier than I figured it would be. I am doing this and I couldn't be happier that I went through the surgery.THank you for hanging in there with me. I will  never forget it. I am on my no smoking site alot---101 days with out a smoke---but I will be writing more here too now. Again Thanks. Love Nancy

Nancy, that is SO wonderful!!  BOTH accomplishments.

'easier than I thought it would be'.  I agree, but it still wasn't what most people would call "EASY".

Keep up the positive attitude!  You CAN keep losing and keep the cigarettes out of your life.  To tackle both of those at once is awe inspiring.

grammylew,
Thanks for the kind words. I agree with you ---it takes a lot of work for it to be easier. I am just amazed at how well I have adjusted to the diet so far. That was my biggest fear going into surgery. Quiting smoking was real hard but the support group I am in has helped so much. Well, take care, Love, Nancy

Nancy, I am so glad to see you....you have been missed.

I am happy to see that things are going well. I could tell by the smile........!

Please do post here a bit more so we can share in your happiness and success too. We love doing the happy dance with someone who is doing it too.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

I will post more often here too. I have been so busy with my smoking site--I manage one--that my time is short but I will be back here more often. Thanks for missing me. Love Nancy
