We are crossing the finishing line, the weekend is near. How many feel our abstinance is a battlefield. How many feel it becomes easier as, time goes by....
I think it gets easier, perhaps I am blessed, perhaps I was so tired of being who I was...
B- Bacon and scrambled egg L- Chicken Teriyaki D- Chili with Cheese.
May your day be merry...

Hi,

I don't abstain.  I just use portion control.  I abstained throughout my diet life and found myself getting angry and thinking, this is NOT normal.  So, I don't do that anymore.  That's just me I guess.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Good morning to you, Linda. I am so glad that today is Thursday and the week end is getting nearer and nearer. Even if it is going to be a busy week end. It is still the week end none the less.

Today is busy but I need to find the time to fix dinner. I didn't have time for that yesterday and I went to bed later than normal and got hungry once I was in bed. Oh brother, I just closed my eyes and went to sleep. ha ha  I guess you have to do what you have to do.

B: sf oatmeal with sunflower kernels
S: slim fast low carb shake
L: chicken enchilada bake
D: pork chop and steamed veggies
S: I don't think there will be one

Have a wonderful day today and know that I am sending love and hugs to you dear friend and sister. I am keeping you and yours in my prayers. Keep that special and beautiful smile on your lovely face today....it helps so many people. More than you know....and it helps you too.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Good question Linda. On most days this new life style is easy and I don't give it a second thought. I know that stress and lack of sleep will open the door to the old demons.

Linda,

I don't know - my abstinence comes and goes.  It's certainly easier now than it was pre-op, but unfortunately I lose my grip from time to time.

B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: tofu in peanut sauce
S: smoked turkey & muenster cheese wrapped around an avocado slice
D: salmon veggy cakes, asparagus, maybe a taste of bulgur salad
S: SF pudding
