Oh my goodness, Linda!  Did your legs give out or get dizzy?  I do both.  I hope you are feeling better now and are able to keep your test appointment.  You definitely need the MRI.  Take care and God bless you.

Hi sweet Joy,I do not get dizzy.I can stand straight up an if I am not careful I can tip over. When I walk I have to be careful to use heel to toe, very careful, with legs apart,as I am knock kneed to but...LOL.
I hope they find out what is wrong,as I also pass out.

Hey sweetie,
I do understand what you mean.  When I walk, I need to put my hands out and touch the walls to help keep my balance.  My accoustic neuroma tumor is pressing on the cranial nerves 7 & 8 which is causing the world go around for me.  You are in my mind and heart.

Always,
JOY

Linda,
We are going to wrap you in pillows Dear Lady. My balance stinks and there is always the worry of falling.

Try again, maybe yesterday wasn't the right time.

Linda,

I'm glad they were able to reschedule your test for Thursday.  It seems like too often, it can take several weeks to schedule tests like MRI's.

I sometimes wonder how massive weight loss affects our balance and body sense.  I'm afraid there may be medical issues underlying your falling problem, but at my morning exercise class yesterday I was struck by how different (and sometimes foreign) my body feels now.  The instructor administered a fitness test, and although I scored as physically fit, I did not do well on the portions of the test related to balance and agility. (I suppose age could be a factor, too, but I wasn't going to whine about that in the class because one of the other members is 77 years old!)

B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: BBQ pork (I'm working in the kitchen at a church luncheon today)
S: smoked turkey & provolone wrapped around an avocado slice
D: creamy parmesan crab, broccoli
S: SF Boston cream pie pudding

Dear Linda:
I hope and pray they can find out what is causing you to fall....sorry about you falling yesterday....that's got to be painful.  Please know I am keeping you in prayer and your doctors too to find a solution to this problem.   My balance is terrible -- I can lose my balance just standing still in one spot!  Mine is due to knee replacements and hip replacement.
I need to have my hip socket resurfaced since it's 18 1/2 yrs old and the socket has deteriorated so that kinda makes me off balance.

Anyway know we are all here holding you close in our thoughts and prayers.

Hugs,
Pat R.

Hi Jean,it has to do with the weight loss,I was going to try tai chi,but that is a lot harder than it looks.
I must try something beside swimming..
I am enjoying a Beneprotein in my coffee, pretty good.
I am going to try not to fall,of course having the crap knocked out of you when they have no disabilty entrance does not count.
Many blessings ,sweet lady.
