Aloha Reenee....I'm so happy to meet you. I'm from the Bay Area originally.....Santa Cruz, and San Jose. My brother lives in Cupertino, and my son in Scotts Valley.

This IS the place to come if you are having difficulties for sure. We share our victories AND our challenges right here, and I can't tell you how many times I've been helped by the people here through a rough spot.

Thanks all for the nice welcome. Although I'd rather be in Hawaii with Karen, I live in Brentwood, CA. (Not the OJ Brentwood.....CA actually has 2 cities named Brentwood! I'm in No. CA. I retired a yr ago. Now, since hubby still works, I find myself making a large dent in the couch cushions. I need HELP!!! I have started working at a local retail store (PT) but due to the recession the hours are very limited. You guys have given me some much needed motivation. Please keep it up!!!
Karen, I am very familiar with SJ, Santa Cruz, Cupertino & Scotts Valley as my job required me to travel 5 counties. I hated going to San Jose...on 1 freeway, off 1 freeway, on 1 freeway, off 1 freeway....LOL.
