I'd like to get to know you. Please tell me a little about yourselves. I am recently retired, 3 yrs out from RNY, 57 yrs old, and have become a couch potato! Your posts have given me the "kick in the butt" I needed and I became reacquainted with my treadmill last night. Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to do it in socks and now have two HUGE blisters on the balls of my feet!!! Plan to go for a walk today...it's beautiful (sunny) here today. I lost 105 lbs. and God knows how but I have managed to keep it off despite the fact that I can and do eat anything I want (just smaller amounts) I hope you can teach an old dog new tricks. AND it appears from your posts that I have not been taking the right Vits/Supps. ie. 3 yrs on calciam carbonate. Boy am I confused!! HELP!!

I am going to be 55 in May so we are close in age. I also live fairly close to you. I grew up in Antioch and still have relatives there. I work in Tracy for Tracy Unified School District. I had RNY in December of 2007 and I've lost 120 lbs. I have one daughter who just turned 24 and I've been married 25 years last October. Nice to meet you!

Nice to meet you too. I have 3 children; daughters 29 and 37 and a son who is 33. I've been married 39 yrs this July. We got married the month after I graduated from HS. Am a CA native, born at Travis. You are lucky as I see there are several support groups in the Stockton/Tracy area. Nothing here in the FAR East Bay. (I've lived in Brentwood for 8 yrs) My youngest daughters BF teaches HS in Stockton...poor guy got a pink slip last month. Times are tough!
