Good morning to you, Linda. It is before the crack of dawn here so I have a feeling that you are now
snoozing. Or at least I hope you are getting your much needed rest.
Nothing much going on here today I don't think. I am going to try to find out if I can get into the doctor this morning. I am having a rash on my legs that I think might be an allergic reaction to the anti-biotic. I started getting it yesterday but by the time I found it the doctor's office was closed until this morning. It isn't at all unusual for me to have a reaction after I take a medication even several times. I have quite a list of allergies. It just keeps growing the older I get too.
Food isn't high on my list at all. I just don't seem to have an appetite at all. It seems so strange since before wls I would get hungrier when I was sick. This a new one to me. I remember my old family doctor asking me why I gained weight if I was so sick and I told him it seems like I always do. He just made a strange look and went on. Heck, he was the one that delivered me and so he knew me so well.......he probably figured that it was a lost cause. Little did he know.....
there was help for old Brenda.
I am going to just go with simple stuff today just like yesterday. I worked on protein and water........but didn't get much accomplished in either department. I will try harder today with it.
I just wanted to tell you that a few years ago I had the MRI of the head with contrast and I lived through it. I had to have mine because they were checking for something to cause my memory loss. It came back nothing and so that is why they are thinking it is the medication that I take for the diabetes neuropathy. One of the far fetched side effects......yes, leave it to me to get a far fetched one......so that is why I have the memory loss. Such is life I guess. They really aren't bad. I am glad that you are going to have it since they might be able to find something and can help you with some of the problems. Just do what I do with things I really don't want to do.....just suck it up, do it and go on. There isn't much else we can do. We don't have to like the things that we have to do......we just have to do them. Then when we do it we can go on with our life.
I better get going. I have been chatting for so long. I am sending love and hugs to you along with extra special prayers going up to our heaven for you and yours. Remember to smile pretty and that will help you to stay positive too.

Linda,
Vietnamese food sounds good! The only Asian restaurants in our area are Chinese all-you-can-eat buffets. The food is Southern USA style Chinese - everything fried! It's nothing like the good Chinese food I've had in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. I do miss that.
Rolling veins are no fun. A few years ago when I was having a colonoscopy, the woman in the bed next to mine had rolling veins. Every nurse in the place (probably 4-5) tried to stick her IV in, each making numerous attempts. Finally they had to get the doctor to do it, and it took him a couple of tries too. They kept apologizing to the patient, who just said, "I go through this all the time."
I went to see my PCP yesterday because of my hip pain. He had me X-rayed. The good news: I don't have osteoarthritis. The bad news: I have bursitis (again). He gave me a cortisone shot (I refused Prednisone) and told me I've been exercising too much! Never in a million years did I ever think someone would tell me I exercise too much. He told me to cut back to walking or low-impact aerobics 3 days a week for 2 weeks in order to give my hip a rest. Of course, my first thought was: if I don't exercise as much, I won't burn as many calories, and I'll gain weight. But the pain is very tiresome (and he wouldn't give me any painkillers) so I will follow his instructions.
B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: pork chop, orange & lemon salad
S: cheese stick
D: chicken, asparagus
S: SF white chocolate pudding

Hi Jean,I love this eatery,it authentic, you pick your meet and veggies and the cook it on this huge round table like thing, they do it with water. It is amazing they use NO oil,not in anything, and it is so flavorful. They have a egg made like quiche, again no butter or anything. They have an almond milk that I like,it takes me 5 times to drink it,so I keep freezing it,as it is slushy style,it has coconut,no sugar. Romeo is a nice man.
Yeah, maybe they will find out why I pass out,no need of running away from things,my usual answer in my youth.
Jean,we can not over due, people do not know how great it feels to be able to move,"the spirit is willing, but the body is week."
I am happy to go to part time at work,if that stops me from this in and out,up and down sequence.
I just love the pic of your doggie...smile.
Have a great day,sweetie.
