Annette, I hope that you are feeling better soon. Please go to the doctor. You can't risk any complications from something. So please, out of love, I am asking you to not wait. Just as you have with me and my Harriet Hernia. I can't say that I will miss her when she is gone.............

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Thanks for your concern Brenda,

I called my surgeon and he wants me to be seen ASAP. The main worry is dehydration.

You will feel like a new woman once Harriet is gone.

Aloha dear Annette....I'm SO GLAD to hear that you are going to your doc right away. You always worry me because I know that you are on the low side of what the charts say you should weigh (as am i), and I think that makes us prone to different physical problems than perhaps if we were at a healthier weight. I continue to struggle to keep from losing too much...and find I have to basically eat very often or it just slips back down. (a problem I NEVER even considered!)

Water.....what a good reminder to ALWAYS be drinking it. I needed to hear that, too. You have a big aloha hug on the way.......hope you find an answer soon, and come share with us.

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen

Karen,
I am home, on the BRAT diet, Imodium and extra fluids. LOTS of extra fluids.

B - banana
R - rice
A - applesuace
T - toast

He thinks I just have a gastro thingy, same as Tom had, but I'm not fighting it as well.

Keep chugging water and eat often Karen. That does seem so strange to hear.

Kisses
Annette

Hi,

Today I may pick up my new old car.  Funny thing, the car I wanted wasnt for sale until yesterday, well we think it is.  So now I am at a decision point.  I hate it when this happens!

Today I go to my knitting club and start a new project.  I will make a baret, scarf and leg warmers.  This should keep me busy for awhile.  My library offers an online audiobook download option so I have been listening to audiobooks on my computer and it's fun too.

Anyway, I was sick all yesterday so hopefully with the nice weather, I can be out in it more today.  Soak up some of that vitamin D we all lack lol.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Top of the morning to all my OFF family. I hope that today is the perfect spring day for everyone. That may be wishful thinking, but thoughts are there anyway!

Nothing much going on here. I got up early this morning and made a double batch of chicken Alfredo for a church funeral dinner. Eleanor Murray passed away at the age of 94 on Sunday. She was our oldest member and she was also my art teacher in grade school. I got to know her well and she was a special lady. I remember thinking she was so eccentric and she never changed in all the years that I had the privilege of knowing her.

I am helping out at the office this morning. There is so much to do with the coming of Easter and all the special services. I am helping with the bulletin for the funeral today and also for the services that are coming up. I love doing this so it is no problem to me. I get to visit with my church family and still get to give back to the place that helps me so much in my life. So if you ask me it is a win win situation.

I take Carol to her NST this afternoon. I am somewhat better now with this being my 4th day with the medication. Though yesterday and today my throat and ears are bothering me more now than before. But the anti biotic that I am on works well for me........unlike a lot of other ones. And to top off the fact that a lot of them don't work I have a lot of allergies to medications and sever anti biotics are on that list. I am anxious to see my Kayden's little heart go to town. And then to top that off I hear his kicks too. That is always wonderful to hear. Time ticks on and before long the big day is going to be here............I just can't wait.

The temps here today is going to be in the high 40's and that is it. A few days ago they were saying that we were going to be in the 50's for several days and that didn't last long. If you ask me each time I see the weather forecast the temperatures keep going down instead of up. That isn't the way it is suppose to go..........it must keep going up and not down. Doesn't Mother Nature know yet it is spring???????/

I better get moving. I have to get dressed and take my meds and I should have something for breakfast too. Have a wonderful and blessed day and know that I am sending love and hugs to all. Prayers are being said for everyone too. Remember to smile pretty and bring joy and happiness to others as well as yourself too.

Happy Thursday everyone,

I have yet another day of driving all over SE Michigan working for a client.  Come to find out she gave me information indicating the death was in a different county, so now I'm off north of here to Oakland Co.  That upsets me not only because of the gas, which I charge for, but my time, which I also charge for, but nonetheless, it was a day wasted.

Later on today I have to get in touch with the shut-in that I do errands for because she wants me to clean out her basement so she can move to AZ.  It is a horrible mess, you can hardly turn around down there and there's mold on one wall from a water leak.  I know how to tear down the wall and hang new drywall, but I'm not sure I want to touch that wall.

Better get busy, nothing will get done if I sit here.....have a great day everyone!

Elaine
