Uh Oh! It's the April Fools Edition of What's New?

Hi Everyone!
Happy April Fool's Day! Twenty four years ago right now I was in heavy labor. My only child, Laura, was born at 1:00 P.M. on April Fool's Day! She is the BEST daughter, too- I couldn't ask for more! Since she is 24 that puts me at "almost" 55! The time sure does fly!
Tonight we are going out to dinner together -Laura, her best friend Julia (Julia was named after me 25 years ago- her Mom and I are good friends also), myself and her Dad. She wants to keep it low key.
Last night I won the award for my division in the TOPS awards. I lost 75 pounds in 2008. My total has been 120 pounds but part was in 2007 and part in 2009. I'm going to have to step it up a notch to start losing to goal though.
It has been a crazy few weeks in Tracy where I work. One of the police officers that were killed in Oakland lived here and so we've had media and caravans of officers going through town. Now we have a missing 9 year old girl and even more TV crews and helicopters. It's all very sad and sobering. This is a small town to have so much news.
I'm taping Oprah too. I hope it is a balanced view of weight loss options.

Hi George and my OFF family:

Here I am, bringing up the rear again. I am getting a really late start. Didn't get out of bed til after 10:30 a.m. Got home last night and my friend Mary Kay called me for some reason, so I chatted for a while and cried about work (she used to work there too). Somehow, I wrenched my knee and it has been hurting something horribly ever since. Can't figure out what I did, but since I had my ingrown nail removed, I've been kind of lopsided. I feel like I pulled my medial collateral ligament, the one that runs down the inside of the knee. It's just off. I go back to the doctor on Tuesday, so I'll just tough it out til then.

One of my copy desk coworkers left yesterday, two more coworkers (a features writer and an assistant sports editor) leave today. I may try to get to the after party party ... I don't make the morning parties because they're at 10 a.m. and I don't get up that early. The afternoon party is at a bar downtown and I may stop there before work and have a Diet Coke just to say goodbye to everyone. Hopefully, people are still there when I get there.

Well, I need to get some lunch in me and take a shower. Have a good day.

I saw the nutritionist today and am taking the rest of the day off.

Hi George and everyone! No pranks today... It is raining on Long Island but it is in the 50's.  - April showers!  I stayed home today still recooping from the cellulitis in my leg.  Now to add to a hurt leg I sprained my right wrist.  I was carrying a case of iced teas and must have done something... I hope that everyone had a great day!

My day was one of those where I'm very busy all day but got absolutely nothing accomplished. The only load of laundry just now went into the dryer. Dishes washed but not put up....lots of starts and very few finishes! Tomorrow has to be a sewing day. I got a few do rags orders today that have to go in Fridays mail. Can't complain, I'd rather sew than clean house!

We went to Kroger's tonight for their low carb yogurt and a few things on my OH list! I never did find the TVP and dried Endame BUT I finally found the FAGE yogurt! Yippee!
