Linda,

Getting older sure seems to involve more aches and pains for me, although in many other ways I'm now in the best health of my life.  I got a break from my allergies yesterday because it poured rain all day.  I had enough energy to finish the top of a quilt that I had started a few years ago and abandoned (I hate to admit how many unfinished projects are lurking in my closets).  I used to assemble and hand-quilt and bind my quilts myself, but I no longer have the hand strength to do that, so today I'm taking the quilt to a place called The Stitchin Post to have it assembled and machine quilted.

B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: Chinese chicken livers, celery salad
S: smoked turkey & provolone wrapped around a slice of avocado

Good morning to you, Linda and I hope that your aches and pains find some ease soon. I wish they would all go away but unfortunately I haven't found that to be true. It sure would be nice I think that as you age things just naturally ache.....some days more than others but still ache they do. What I would give to have the knowledge and body of today but the bones and joints of when I was much younger. Oh that would make things perfect....until I found something else I would want to change.......and believe me there would always be something else! Are we ever satisfied with what we have now? I know that I am not.

Food for today is just really not to appealing to me. I think I am going to have to really consider what I am going to do because right now I have no idea about lunch or dinner. That would make Bill sad for sure but since he isn't feeling really good either he would just not say anything and pick around the kitchen. There have been days like that and I never hear a complaint from his lips. He is really such a dear and I am truly blessed to have him. I have to remember that more often! I have a tendency to take him for granted. But then on the other hand he does me too. So I guess that is human nature.

B: sf oatmeal and sunflower kernels
L: Do I have the desire to make chicken salad?.....not sure on that!
D: chicken and steamed veggies
S: nothing but more water

Have a wonderful day and remember to smile. I am sending love and hugs to you, my friend, along with an abundance of prayers.

that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Howdy folks,
I've been working hard lately and dealing with some diahrrea from poor eating choices.
I'm checking in to get back on track because I've already had some cookies today.
Haven't had calcium for a couple of weeks.  They said they shipped the order on 3/17 but it seems to be lost in the mail and I can't get anyone from the company to answer email or phone calls.  Rats!  Will have to buy some locally and stop payment on the credit card.
Hugs to all, CV Linda
