Linda,

Does your pouch still get fussy this long after RNY?  I'm always telling newbie bandsters how fickle the band can be, but I guess the RNY pouch can be fickle, too.

When I got up Monday morning, I felt great.  I felt like Superwoman.  Went to aerobics class, did errands, came home, dealt with the 7 dogs, showered, started doing laundry, and suddenly realized that I felt like crap.  It took me several hours to realize what was going on.  Spring is here, and so is the danged pollen.  I had started taking my allergy meds several weeks ago in preparation for this, but the meds can only do so much.  For weeks, I've been complaining to anyone who would listen to me that I'm sick of winter and ready for spring, and now that spring is here, I'm miserable.  You just can't please me!

Monday:
B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: nothing - tried to eat - it wouldn't go down (my allergies make my band feel tighter - my
surgeon says my pouch fills up with mucous - ick)
S: cheese stick
D: shrimp & blue cheese dip, raw veggies
S: ricotta cheesecake fluff

Tuesday:
B: Chike protein shake (I go some free samples from their website)
S: iced skinny latte
L: shrimp & blue cheese dip, raw veggies
S: smoked turkey & provolone wrapped around a slice of avocado
D: Chinese chicken livers, celery salad
S: ricotta cheesecake fluff

Jean,I am sorry for your allergies,I take Singular at night, what do you take??
As for RNY,what happens to me,is not usually a grumpy pouch,I totally lose my appetite,go figure.
I did a little better today, but will have a shake to make up for the lost protein, feel better soon!

LOL,George you are too funny, however you are basically right,Romeo wants to move much faster than I,so it will probably fizzle. So much for being old school, with a set of values...
Menu looks good...smile.
How's the weight holding?

Hi Boo! Heck, you sound like me,I do not have a cold, but I have lost my appetite. Olivia is going through a very low manic stage and I am scared for her.
You are always in my prayers and thoughts.
Hug!!

Good morning to you, our little sweetie. How are things going for you? I hope that you are feeling better.

You are now hearing from another sickie! I guess what we all have is just spreading around like it does in a "real" family. I know that yesterday at the doctor they took a throat culture but I don't think it is strep. I am beginning to think it is sinus. I sure hope so......I have a grandson that just might be making his grand appearance in the next few days. Either way they started me on a anti biotic so that is good.

Food is just going to be simple for what I am eating. I will be a good little wife and make meals for Bill but that doesn't mean that I am going to eat them.

B: sf oatmeal and sunflower kernels
L: chicken breast with red peppers
D: left over meatloaf I think since it has to be finished
S: slim fast low carb shake for the protein

I am sending love and hugs to you along with all the prayers you can use to go with them. Have a wonderful day and know that I think of you often.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
