Nothing to add. It is early and you are a bander, so that's a little different than what I went through. But yes, you will have gas and burping. It takes time to get used to your new body (in your case, the band). It will get better. Everyone else has already reassured you. I lived alone when I had my surgery, too, but I was OK with it. But then I didn't have any problems either. Hang in there! You will be fine, but call your doc if you have problems.

Thanks Eileen for your support and encouragement. Living alone was pretty scary last night. I have never had surgery before  I thought I was so ready for evrything but i wasn't. But I feel better today. Thank God for all of you. How's your knee? Love Nancy

My knee is better, thanks. Still a little pain, but much better mobility. I should be exercising more but my recent work situation has caused some depression (I know, bad excuse) and that has thrown me for a loop. So I'm not in the mood.  I will get back in it ...was going to do it today but tummy is acting up ... I'm sure a lot of it is because of depression too.

Things will get better for you, too. I'm used to being alone so it doesn't faze me at all. It's always me and my kitties.

I have not been around much of OH becasue I have been busy on my quit smoking forum. What happened to you work situation? Depression is a pain in the butt. I know about that stuff. Had it all my life. Need anyone to talk to just let me know if I can help. Love Nancy
