I got in the mail the approval of the tummy tuck from the insurance. I called the doctor's office and she checked and said that she would be giving that information to the scheduler and then she will be getting it scheduled!!! I just can't even imagine what it is going to be like not to have the hanging skin from my tummy.....well, it is hard to call something like what is there a tummy since I picture a tummy as smaller. But I will be soon having a tummy......something that I can't ever remember having.

Today is so good! I love my mailman.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

brenda this is such wonderful news.  i am very happy for you.

i think about having one also, but the thought of more surgery in my life is not appealing.

I hear you.  My wife has had 37 surgeries since 1997.  She asked our PCP about plastic surgery for the tummy.  He asked her if she had the surgery to look good in a bikini, or to be healthy for her grandkids.  He told her she does not need to be rolling the dice and having another surgery.

That being said, I am not slamming those who have the surgery.  To each his own.  Plus, I know some people have more hanging skin than others.  My wife, to me, does not have enough hanging skin to make a tummy tuck a necessity.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Aloha sunshine girl!

Oh, I LOVE it when I sign on and see some great news right off the bat. I am SO HAPPY FOR YOU!! As you recall, I had my tummy done back in Dec.......and I still can't believe that I have a flat belly. You will too!! Be sure to take pictures from the side, front etc.....you will not believe the change. I no longer have to lift my belly to wash in the shower!! Yeah!

How excellent that your insurance is covering it, too. Mine did, also....which was like a miracle because from what I've heard it can be up to $10,000 for a tummy tuck.

Thank you for sharing your joy. Happy Happy for you!

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen

WHOOOOOOO  HOOOOOOO

I am so jealous.  All I have is medicare and I know they will not cover it and I sure can't afford it.  So after losing weight, guess I will just have to have saggy belly.

I am so thrilled for you.  Way to go Mr. Mailman.

Hi Bette M:
I understand that Medicare will pay for a tummy tuck if your doctor says you have sores and yeast infections occurring under the hanging skin.....I hope so, because I am hoping to have one this fall.
