Oh this is so frustrating!
I have had sort of a weight stall. I wouldn't call it a plateau yet because it's only been a couple of weeks but the gosh darn scale will not move down past this certain weight. It will fluctuate up and down and up and down... for about 2 weeks now and I'm trying just about everything I can other than going back to a liquid diet. I change up my exercise routine... I tried eating a little more, a little less, beefing up the amount of water I'm drinking. I know, I know.... the number on the scale isn't supposed to be that important... that's what everyone says. But it's important to me.
We're leaving on vacation this Wednesday (Las Vegas) and I was hoping to be down a few more pounds before we leave but I have a bad feeling that ain't happening. So I'm going strictly protein with only fruit or veggies starting today... I have so many beautiful strawberries in the fridge I'm not letting them go to waste. Hopefully this strategy will help.
I have noticed my coffee consumption is up. I'm wondering if that's a problem at all...making me dehydrated so the body is hanging on to water? What do you think?
I'm open to all suggestions, opinions. I need all the help I can get.

Thanks for the nice comment on the picture... I had my husband take that last weekend.

Move on over....we are in the same boat. I too have lost about 90 lbs and want to lose another 35. I have been stuck fluctuating up and down 5 or so lbs. I am beginning to think that I am not absorbing all the protein I eat and I have just ordered a protein powder. I have never liked them and so don't take them much. Thought I could get enough from food. Everything I read equates protein intake to weight loss. I hope I like the Nectar product and I hope I start losing again. I'll let you know if it helps.
Nectar protein is the ONLY protein I've used for over 2 1/2 years. It's not thick like a shake, think more "Tang". I like the Fuzzy Navel the best of all of them, kind of peachy/orangy.
I mix a 1/2 scoop at a time in a 20 oz bottle of water that I've taken a couple good sips out of. There's no rule that you have to mix it full strength. I do it three-1/2 scoops a day in my water and it's so much better than trying to drink a whole one at one time.

As far as the Nectar protein, it's made by Syntrax. You can google it and find it online. I get mine from Vitalady, simply because that's where I get my vitamin d-3 AND she sells samples of different proteins for about $2 each. You can get it from Amazon.com too.
There used to be a Drug Emporium here that sold it for the same price and no shipping charges, but they stopped carrying it.
One scoop has 90 cals and 23 grams of protein. I use 1/2 scoop mixed with some sort of crystal lite to enhance the flavor in a 20 oz of water. Three of those a day gives me 34.5 grams of protein and nearl all of the water I need.

The nectar I ordered is the fuzzy navel one. I read somewhere that is is really good mixed with crystal light mandarin orange or something like that. I hope I like it as well as others do. This has been a wake up call for me. It took me awhile to get someone to actually listen to me and order the D and ferritin tests. I actually had an article (from OH I believe) that I took with me, Until I get my D delivered from vitalady I am popping 1000 mg tabs several times a day with a small piece of cheese. Don't know it it is being absorbed or not but at least I feel like I a m doing something.
Thanks for all the advice. I can get confused with all this stuff even after nearly 3 years. Maybe even more so as my memory lets me down sometimes..geez...pass the B12.
