Easter egg hunt

There is always an annual Easter egg hunt at church after the service on Easter Sunday.  I bought plastic eggs and candy and had a volunteer fill the eggs for me.
But,  there were some things that were too big for the eggs. (tootsie pops).

I said I was going to take them and keep them for my grandchildren, but after the volunteer left, i ended up eating two plus a large tootsie roll.

Tomorrow morning my first order of business is to take the rest of that candy and put it in the trash can outside.

My lack of self control is not getting much better.  Though before, I would have just kept the bag in my desk and eaten all of it over the course of a couple days.  So i guess there is some improvement.

This board is quiet today!!!

The bag is in my desk drawer at the office, but as soon as I get there, into the tra**** goes.  And not the indoor trash, but the outside trash can.

Throwing candy and other sweets into the trash is very empowering. Sometimes I buy a treat at Buck's and have a few bites, put it back into the bag and just SMASH the dickens out of it. I get a bit of a treat and feel good about controlling the food, not it controlling me!

I commend you for throwing the candy in the OUTSIDE trash...good for you!!! We all have our moments with the food demons!!
