Linda,

I got a haircut yesterday - a very short, Victoria Beckham style (yeah, we look just alike now).  It's amazing how much a new hairstyle can perk me up.  Here's a photo of me with my new hair and my old dog, Georgie:

The photo reminds me of the comment a Chinese acquaintance made when I showed her a photo of Georgie.  She squealed and said, "He look just like piggy!"

B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: Dijon shrimp, asparagus salad
S: smoked turkey & muenster cheese wrapped around a slice of avocado (yum!)
D: maple marinated pork, butternut squash "hash browns"
S: ricotta cheesecake fluff

Jean, I really do like your new haircut. It looks fantastic.

Georgie is a sweetie too. How old is he?

Thanks, Brenda.

Georgie is 9 years old.  He's our oldest dog.  He was getting old before his time, slow and lazy, until our stray dog had those 4 puppies.  They keep him moving now!

Jean,
Love the new "do". It compliments your baby blues very well.

Georgie is a whole lotta furbaby and looks huggable.

Good morning Linda and all my OFF friends!

Linda I did miss your post yesterday... I thought maybe I was just looking too early in the morning for it.

Today I'm having yogurt and turkey for breakfast.  Lunch is a salad with some faux crab on the side and shrimp sauce as well as some low fat cheese.  Snacks are clementines and an apple.  Who knows what dinner will be.  I'll think about that after I get home from the gym tonight.

My kitchen is finally candy and junk-food free!  Now that I'm not on diabetes meds anymore, there's no need to keep my little Smarties around for that quick sugar pick-me-up when I was having a low. There were nice and easy to throw in my purse.  Anyway, I gave the bag to my husband to take to work... I needed to rid myself of that last temptation.

I hope everyone has a great Thursday.  It's sunny here and if we're lucky the temp will hit 51.
