What's new Tuesday?

I don't have cats, but don't know if that would be pungent enough or messy enough if they land in it. I'm thinking smelly and messy! Dead, rotting fish perhaps???

Karen, you are too funny!   Believe me kittie poo is bad....the rotten fish would probably bring every feral cat in 20 miles into my yard!

Good morning Eileen and everyone.....

I slept so good last night....I am glad to be home in my own bed!!

I have a full work day today so I need to get going at it soon. I am not complaining as I am grateful to have a job right now.

The weather is cloudy but the temp is supposed to get to the mid to upper 50s today. I will be having windows open for sure!!

I spent the evening with a few friends last night. We watched some TV and just hung out and talked. It was nice to see them again.

I need to go grocery shopping later today.Wish I could think of something new to make. I think I will make up a crock pot of Calico Beans. They are high in protein and they freeze well. I always add ground turkey and bacon for even more protein. Yummy!!

good morning Eileen, since they are saying that the news is going the way of the internet , have you checked into getting into that end of it? dont know anything about how or stuff but thought you might. and it might be something that you can do a lot of from home? or start to school for something that doesnt require walking tht you would be interested in ...while you still have your job and be ready for later. sure would be nice if you could be a sports reporter and get into all the games and then be able to write about them lol ...i am praying for you and so many others that are facing all of this uncertainty....just know that no matter what or how things are now, they wont stay the same forever. nothing ever does.  

I was a sports reporter for the first 16 years of my career, got burnt out of it, also ripped up my knee covering auto racing (fell on the track ... who knew they wet down the inside of the track? I had never covered it before?) It was too hard to chase down all the jocks after that. And as I got older, no one wanted to hire an older reporter, but boy, was I valuable as an editor ... lots of job offers there. Now, I'm too old because I'm too near to retirement and no one wants to hire, not at my salary. And to start school? That costs money, and I don't have it. Would love to ... I love to learn. I've thought of it. But school costs money or loans, and while I'm in bankruptcy, can't take out a loan, don't have money to spend for classes.

Can you see I'm between a rock and a hard place? I'm going to have a reduced salary and a half a paycheck and I won't have enough money to make ends meet. I'm barely doing it now.

morning eileen and OFF family...

well rick got news that he ISN"T going to get his income tax return...none of it!!! all going to child support!!!! he was out of work and couldn't pay it so it is back support that they are collecting on...sighs...we sure could have used that money to pay the rent and other bills we have....SIGHS.....

weather here is chilly but the sun is shinning...hope that snow storm that is west of here stays away from us!!! i am so tired of winter!!!

going to post office to mail out the tea for carla this morning and then come back home and do some laundry IF the machine is available!!! seems every time i get a chance to use it its being used!!! makes me wonder if the others are letting their friends use it also!!! seems like an awful lot of dirty clothes if you ask me!!!

well not much else going on here so better get my shower in and face on and get going...have a nice day all....

Sorry you won't get that money you were waiting for ... seems we all have money concerns. My thoughts are with you, and I hope Rick can find a job.

 Eileen I can so relate to your fears & concerns being unemployed since October. Never thought it would be this  long & still no job in sight. At least you still have your
job & they are willing to work with you on some things. Hang in there!!

George it sound like a great baseball game even with the changes that were made.

Have to try & get a hold of my Doc today (who has been on vacation) let her know
still dealing with some side effects from the meds I am on. See if she changes them
& completely out of another one. So that should make for a fun morning since she will
be a busy person just getting back to work.

NOt much else going on here. Weather cooled off 20 degrees from saturday to yesterday, but the winds have finally gone away. So today should be back to about
75 The we can handle with no problem. It was way to early for the 90 stuff, anyway,
