GOD BLESS YOU TODAY
JAN COOK
so sorry about your trip, but at least it's postponed, not cancelled. The insurance is a Godsend. My SIL became very ill on a Mediterraian cruise and had to be hospitalized in Italy, then flown home and it was completely covered.
Hope your friend is feeling better soon. Italy will always be there.

Karen, I agree Italy will be there when you CAN make it!! I don't think you would have wanted anything to happen to your friend on this trip, so waiting will be over before you know it!! I am headed to church today & then after that don't have a clue
what I am up to. Probably NASCAR watching!! Prayers for those in need today &
have a Blessed Sunday!!

I hope you will be able to reschedule that trip sooner rather than later. It is a fantastic country. I met my DH in Rapallo, Italy 45 years ago and would love to go back.
Ah, grandbabies. Such a wonder God gives us. My youngest is now 12 and I still don't know where the years went!
The NC grandsons were here for their Sunday morning BLT's. They just left with our lawn mower and weed eater. Their mower is broken down, and I guess one of them is gonna mow, one of them use our weed eater, and our son will use his weed eater, while our DIL uses their edger. I hope they swing by here when they are done!! I have a pot roast done in the pressure cooker planned for Sunday dinner at 1 PM.
My Mom called at 8:30. Her usual time to call me on Sunday morning is 10 AM. She said she woke up sick. Some kinda stomach bug PLUS congested. She was gonna take some meds and go back to bed. She'll call me when she wakes up again. I worry about her a lot, but she is very independent and stubborn!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!
Today is church and then home to finish up the living room. We got a lot done yesterday so I just have bits and pieces to finish up. Nothing much, just finding homes for things that have been sitting around. I got the furniture rearranged and it looks alright. It kind of closes up the living room since I separated the dining room from it with the sofa. I told Bill that I wish I had a bigger place but for now it is a nice roof over our heads. That is the important thing.
I am going to church in a few minutes. I will have to do the Lay Speaking part of the service again this week and then next and then it goes on to another Lay Speaker. I will be glad of that. I really don't like being up in the front, I like sitting in the pew much better.
I guess I should get going. Nothing much going on here that's for sure. I am looking forward to just vegging tonight and watching television. Cold Case is on tonight along with The Unit. We love watching those shows.
I am sending love and hugs to all along with prayers. I hope that everyone has a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you will bring happiness not only to your own life but to others too.

My daughter's MIL arrives in a couple of hours. A slight change of plans - she will be staying in a motel instead of here. Her cat has fleas and I can't have my 7 exposed.
Tom is waiting for me to shave his head. He has a full head of hair all Winter but likes it bald all Summer. Kind of like sheering a sheep.
We woke up in the middle of the night and Tom wanted a bagel. I decided it sounded yummy and ate one too. Big mistake. It felt like a wad of cement in my throat. The bagel wouldn't go down and wouldn't come up. Lesson learned - don't eat bagels in the middle of the night.
