What's New FRIDAY?
Good morning to you, big sister Annette and my other OFF family. I hope that this first day of spring brings sunshine and happiness to everyone. Even if there is no sunshine make your own! Just be happy and love where you are at this moment. I know......easy to say but not always easy to do! I know just what you mean!
Today is just another day in the neighborhood. I am going to stay home today and maybe do some stuff around here and maybe not. I am not sure just what I choose to do. I do plan on doing some reading. I am reading a new mystery called "Chasing Smoke" written by Bill Cameron. I just started it last night and it seems to be a slow book. I hate books like that. So far it is good but it is one of those books that you read and read and just get past a couple of pages. Not sure what I am going to do here. I might get tired and frustrated and just give up. I do that at times.
I got a pork roast in the crock pot and tonight I am going to shred it up and make some tacos. Bill is wanting some of that and being the good and dutiful wife that I am (yeah right!) his every wish is my command. He could only wish on that last statement. I figured that it would give him something to eat during the week end and it wouldn't have to be a big cooking week end for me. Now you know the real me......it is all about me, me me! He is so easy to please with food I am certainly blessed by that. I use to be a cook but now I try to find the easiest way out.
The day today is sunny but cold. The warmer weather is coming this week end and on Monday. so that gives me something to look forward to. I just can't wait until spring is here and stays for a while. It seems like around here we only have a couple of days of spring and fall and the rest is winter and summer. I would rather have spring and fall.
This week end I am planning on starting spring cleaning. Bill has agreed to help me with the moving of furniture and such. He is so good and most of the time I don't appreciate him like I should. I do have to watch our nephews kids on Saturday. He is starting to work on Saturday and so does his girlfriend and so that leaves me to watch them. There is 2 and every other week end Mikey goes to his dads. And boy is he welcome to him. He is a screamer and a crying machine. I just can't stand to be around him for to long. That is a terrible thing to say about a kid but boy he is a piece of work let me tell you! I only have to babysit for 3 hours and so I can get through that without a problem........I hope!

TGIF for those that work & have a real schedule. My days kinda all run together lately.
I getting out of the fog I was in with the new anti-D's, but, still would really love a job
& soon, before I go more crazy than I already am.
Yesterday was not a good day at all around this House (Apt) Big fight with the Other
Half & still not talking this a.m. So we will see what lies ahead for this day,.
It was 90 2 days ago & now back down to low 80's to day that is a good thing it was
way too early to be that hot around these parts. Although it has happenend in the past.
Have a Good Friday Everyone & hope my down attitude does not come your way!!

Annette...I'm always so envious of your fun times with your little ones....I miss mine a lot!! Thanks for sharing your adventures in here so I can enjoy vicariously!! Ha~!
Well, my goodness...the sun just popped up over Haleakela and it is going to be a gorgeous day!! The ocean is smooth and if a humpback pokes her head up I will see her easily. We have had a lot of births in the past few days, and so we are seeing mamas and babies regularly. It won't be long and they will be taking those babies for the LONG trek back to Alaska. They will be missed!
Just have time to pop in and say Hi to everyone.......have to get going soon. My "to do" list is quite long today. I will spend some time on the lanai before leaving to soak in the beauty and express my thankfulness for all that the Big Kahuna and given me. My day always seems to go better when I don't forget to be grateful.
