What is New Thursday March 19th
I couldn't sleep worth a fresh penny in the snow!!!!!! So I have been up all night either walking around or listening to my book cd on the cd player.
I am getting excited for the weekend. I am going to a Jewish fest about 178 miles from here. Meeting up with a friend from my Jewish scrapbook club, Then driving to Orlando to meet up with my sister and her friend for a day. We are going to go to Sea World. I have never been to the one in Orlando, Just the one in Anaheim.
Its good to see Rusty 2 posting again.

Good morning Carla and all you other OFFers!
I am so pumped up. Two great things going on today. First, my son and I are going to play raquetball. He called and asked if I would be interested in playing once a week. We both get exercise and I get to spend time with him. Win, win. Then, this afternoon I am picking my nephew up at the airport. Won't be going in to wor****il 2AM or so. Then leave at 6:15 and not have to be bac****il 9:45 Sunday night.
Speaking of which, I got my shift again. I was a little concerned as to whether or not they would mess with the times. It is ideal as it is, I work my part time job and then have to be here 45 minutes later. They are 18 minutes apart. Works out great.

PM me if you are interested in it. hope you have a good time with your friend and family. sea world is awesome!!! i have been to the one that USED to be here in ohio a few years back and loved it!!! wi**** was still here!! rick said it was bought out and changed to something else so no more sea world here in ohio.... :(
george you are always so full of energy and love of family and work....oh yeah baseball too!!! LOL opening day here for the captains is april 9th. then that saturday night they have fireworks and i will be watching them from our balcony!! can't wait!!!
its a chilly morning here in willoughby today...but the sun is out and that is nice!!! pair of mallard ducks were swimming in the pool this morning also.
got the new fried dough in at work to start selling yesterday. its like an elephant ear you buy at the fair. we sell it for $1.99 and you can have powder sugar or cinnamon sugar or both on it. sure looks good!!!
got my work schedule for next week and i am off tuesday and saturday....i will be working all early shifts 8-330...woohooooo!!!!! i would much rather work early shift and not closing all the time.
not much else going on here...still waiting for the unemployment check to get here and also ricks tax returns...will make me less worried when they get here on paying bills next month that for sure!!! just got the cable bill and its going up next month!!! GRRRRRR i don't see how they can raise rates when the economy is so bad off and so many are out of work!!! i told rick if need be we will do without cable!!! he said no way...i said if we can't make the necessary bills we WILL discontinue cable for now!!!! what other choice do we have?? i also told him we would go and see about ffod stamps tuesday when i am off work. why not get them if we can right now?? it would help alot if we can. but i am sure with the luck we have we will be turned down....
well i am going to call the dentist now and see what he says about my tooth bothering me. its the one i had root canal work on. if i eat hot food and chew it on that side that tooth is painful!!! and it shouldn't be like that should it?? sighs....one thing after another!!
edit...just called dentist and i have appointment on saturday morning to see if anything is wrong with that tooth...said it should not have any pain there at all...so will have to see what dr says about it.

Another fantastic day in paradise.
Both NC grandsons had baseball games last evening. JV lost, Varsity won. Their report cards came out this week and they both did VERY well.
The Oregon grandson got accepted to a very nice private high school for next year. Not sure what sports teams they have, but he will be doing something. He likes football, baseball, golf and wrestling. We are all so proud. But it's very expensive.
MY DH is under 300 pounds for the first time in a VERY long time. Today is his 2 week post-op mark.

I am making this fast......if I can....you know me and how I go on and on! I have to get s shower and get to the church for a meeting on one of my committee's.
Last night we were laying in bed watching television and heard something and sure enough the water heater upstairs busted and the water was coming in where my furnace and water heater is. It was just pouring in and had to call the maintenance man and get him out of bed. He came and went upstairs and turned it off and then said that they were going to replace it this morning and they would fix the water damage here. Well we cleaned everything up and now it is fine. The water came in the bathroom and all over the floor and through the heating vent and electrical outlet too. It was a mess. But with most of it being Bill doing the work it got cleaned up. They are changing the water heater upstairs now.
It is sunny but cold. I guess it is only going to get into the low 40's today.....but at least the sun is shinning. That makes it more bearable. I can't wait until spring completely is here.
My hernia is bothering me more and more. I have been waiting on the insurance but they are soooooo slow. I know that if they don't do something soon I am going to appear at the hospital and then it will have to be taken care of. The insurance companies sure do drag their feet at times. I have most of the problem after eating and so I am going to just take it easy and eat more bland food. I am going to do more soups and such without the spices and things since they are causing a lot of gas. I know that the pain is where the doctor told me it would be.......more on the right side and so then I pu**** over to the left and it seems to help. Such a mess this whole thing is.........it is funny how something like this can cause such strange happenings. But it will be taken care of SOON one way or the other.
I better get going and get my shower. I am sending love and hugs to all along with prayers/special thoughts for everyone too. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile!

Not much happening in this gorgeous Az Desert, accept yesterday we hit 90 degrees.
Just a tad early for that kind of stuff, so hopefully it will cool back off. Would not be the
first time if we hit 100's by April. hopefully that will hold off for awhile yet. Don't have
much planned today. Still on the job trail, nothing happening there. Carla hope you have
a fun & safe weekend. George you have got to be the busiest person on this board, but
that is a good thing. I am sure it helps keep that weight in check that you lost & out of
the kitchen. If I was even a little bit busier, I would not be eating as much as I do.

90 degrees already!!!!! I have cousins that live in Tuscon and Chandler and that is why when we moved from Denver. We didnt go to ARizona cause of dry heat. Dont get me wrong I love arizona but I dont like the dry heat and no water there!!!!!! So we decied to go to Florida with the humidity and my hair loves it!!!!! and bugs!!!!!!!
It is about 80 today and very sunny yes I a shoveling sunshine today!!!!!
