Happy St. Patty's Day Linda!
Same to all my OFF friends!  The weather today here in Milwaukee is FABULOUS... I think we're gonna go above 70 degrees and sunny!  Yippee skippeeeee!

I'm still working on my raspberry cheesecake yogurt.  I think it's my new favorite flavor (Yoplait).  Then on to some yummy turkey I cooked up in the oven last night.
Snacks will be clementines and what is called a "grapple"... they had them at the grocery store last week, it's actually an apple that must have been injected in grape flavoring.  It's so weird they smell like grape koolaid and crunch like an apple but have this very nice subtle grape flavor.  They're good... but expensive.  I probably won't buy them again but they've been fun to try and tell people about anyway.

Dinner is yet to be decided.  If we go out tonight it will be a salad of some type.  If we stay in... probably the same thing... salad with protein.

Have a great day everyone!

Linda,

I'm having a bone scan done this afternoon, so I've had to lay off the dairy products yesterday and today.  That has turned out to be a lot harder than I expected (though certainly not the worst dietary limitation I ever had to endure!).  So I'm a little jealous of your cottage cheese with blueberries.

B: soft boiled eggs
S: protein bar
L: eggplant "meatball"
S: beef jerky
D: seafood imperial, broccoli
S: creme savers SF candies

Good morning everybody

Linda just called and said her system is down. She sounds fabulous - full of **** and vinegar - gotta love her spirit.

So, if you don't get a response from Linda, it is just the computer gremlins at work.

My meal plans:
B- cottage cheese, Kashi Go Lean, berries
L - green beans, maybe some tuna
D- taking my client out so I have no idea
S - apple & peanut butter

I told one of my friends that I am starting a new tradition. Instead of corned beef and cabbage I plan to drink IRISH WHISKEY all day long. I don't even know what it tastes like. Just kidding her.

Good morning Linda and Friends.

So it's 9 AM and I've already goofed up - dang it.  One of our doctors bakes and cooks and brings in the most delicious goodies.  Most of the time I'm able to resist, but this morning, coconut-pecan pralines were more than I could stand.  I caved and ate one.  Luckily she makes them about the size of a silver dollar to stretch the batch to feed the entire department.  My guardian angel is sitting on my shoulder saying, "I told you not to do it" while I am nauseated and shakey.

B - protein shake
S - coconut-pecan praline and boy am I sorry.  Wish I would
L - beans, cheese, strawberries
S - yogurt or protein shake
D - beef/bean/cheese enchilada, salad
S - cottage cheese and fruit or protein shake

Good morning everyone,

I had a banana for breakfast with black coffee at 6 a.m., and a protein drink (first time for me - 1 scoop of powder with 3 ounces of water) at 10:44 a.m.  The protein drink is Designer Whey, chocolate flavored.  I'm assuming this can be used as a diet supplement before WLS to help with fullness and weight loss.  I'm going to ask at my second nutrition class today at 3 p.m. for better clarification.   I'm hoping I'm down a few pounds from last time.

Have a great day.
