Private message (not massage) mystery solved!
Yipee! Here's the answer you've all been waiting for (yeah, sure), about the mysterious private message alerts we've not been able to get rid of.
When you go to the message section of your profile to get your PM's, they have added "notifications" up at the top where you can go to "sent" "unread", etc. If you click on "notifications" you can go and delete each of them and Whooppeeee....no more "unread" alerts!

It was really quite accidental, really. I was reading the list in the inbox when I noticed the new catagory of "notifications". Cleared them out and there you are! I have a "thing" about messages in my inbox on my regular e-mail address, too. Gotta have them outta there!
