Hiya Linda and Friends!

Just about ready to call it a night.  Cardiologist appt went well, I really like him.  Plan is to start with  extensive blood work, stress test, halter monitor, and we'll go from there if we need to.  Of course, my bp and pulse were almost within normal range while I was in his office.

We ate dinner rather early tonight, by 8:30 I was looking for a snack and needed protein.  I ate a boiled egg followed by cottage cheese with sliced strawberries to which I added about 2 tsp. sf almond flavored syrup.  Yummy!  Let's see, for Sat., I think I'll have:

B - oatmeal/cottage pancake
S - protein shake
L - deli ham and cheese
S - boiled egg
D - probably home made beef and bean enchillada and salad
S - peanut butter or protein shake

I experimented with the Magic Bullet this morning. I put in 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 2 packets of Splenda  - gave it a whirl. The result was thick creamy and tasted really good poured over berries. Tomorrow I'll try whipping in the berries too.

L - deli ham and green salad
D - pork roast, yams & green beans
S - apple & peanut butter

Linda,

Our trips to the vet yesterday went better than expected.  Only one of the 4 puppies misbehaved - I guess Jinx was scared, because he screeched like his toenails were being pulled out one by one (this was before the vet even laid hands on him).  It was so bad, 1 vet tech and 1 office worker came running to see what was wrong.

B: chocolate peanut butter protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: crab alfredo pizza (with a broccoli crust)
S: olive cheese spread on Ak Mak Crackers
D: corned beef and cabbage
S: strawberry protein bar

Good morning. Linda. I pray that today is good for you. You are a busy girl now and it seems like you are getting back to our much loved Linda again. We are glad about that. I don't like it one bit when you are under the weather.

I am so tired today that I didn't get up until 8:30 this morning. That is about 3 hours later than usual. I still feel like I could sleep some more and I am thinking that a nap will be in the schedule for today.

I am not sure just what I am eating today but will give it my best shot. I know that breakfast is taken care of since it is always the same most mornings.

B: sf oatmeal and sunflower kernels
L: chicken soup
D: chicken salad and steamed veggies

I am hoping to get some major housework done today but it may not be as major as I was hoping. I would like to get the furniture changed around in the living room.

I hope you do well today and I am sending love and hugs to you. You of course are in my prayers now and always. Smile that big gorgeous smile of yours and people will know how lucky they are to have you in their lives.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
