Good morning to you, sweetie. I hope that today is good to you since you deserve nothing less.

It isn't going to be long and my race for the most of the day is going to be on. I am tired but just thinking that today is Friday and the week end might be a bit less hectic. I sure hope so. I am looking forward to just spending a day with Bill tomorrow and doing what we need to do and also what we want to do. This week has been run here and run there and do this and do that. I am just plain tired. I went to bed a bit early last night and was sound to sleep when Bill got home from work. I missed seeing him this but I never even heard him come in or even come to bed. I was out like a light!

Food this afternoon is going to be a bit in the air. I have to take my sister to the ophthalmologist and then I have to go and get my DIL and take here to her OB appointment. It won't be long and my little grandson is going to here. I just can't wait. Just about 7 weeks and he is going to make his appearance.

B: sf oatmeal and sunflower kernels
L: ?
D: chicken and steamed veggies
S: probably to tired to eat one!

Have a wonderful day and stay happy. Keep that beautiful smile on your face and I am sending you love and hugs along with the all the prayers that you can ever want. And Linda........stay safe today and in the upright position when you walk, alright?

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Linda,

We're taking our 4 puppies to the vet today for their 2nd round of shots.  We scheduled 2 appointments because taking all 4 puppies at the same time is more than we can handle now (even 2 at a time will be fun-filled), so this vet stuff will basically eat up the whole day.

B: chai tea protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: coconut-ginger chicken, Asian cucumber salad
S: olive cheese spread on Ak Mak crackers
D: crab alfredo pizza (on a broccoli crust instead of regular crust)
S: graham cracker with creamy raspberry dip

I am in St Paul right now. I got the kids off to school and

Carrie, my daughter, is on a plane flying to Aruba right now. I am happy for her as she hasn't had a real  vacation in many years. After all she has gone through in the last few years she really needs this trip.

Greg and Carrie are celebrating their engagement. He gave her a ring a couple weeks ago.

Hello lovely Linda and awesome friends!  TGIF is right, it's the promise of Friday that keeps me going those other four days.  I fight the negatives and temptations to the best of my ability, however, there's not much I can do about the distractors around here, they run through the main office in front of my desk several at a time and hundreds of times a day.  I need a BB gun!
B - protein shake
S - banana and cheese
L - seafood gumbo fro the cafeteria - no rice
S - protein shake
D - baked fish, mushrooms, salad
S - yogurt

Have a great weekend

Hi Linda.  I'm driving over to my daughter's house to celebrate her birthday.  Her birthday was yesterday, but the celebation is tomorrow.  I know the menu for tomorrow is steaks that her DH is grilling.  Whatever she is serving tonight will be delicious, as she is an awesome cook.  I will be getting to enjoy my grandchildren, and that is precious time to me.  I'll probably end up staying the weekend.

I had one bit of bad news.  My kidneys are only functioning at 50%, which explains why I haven't been feeling good.  I'm going to take this one day at a time.  They tell me I can be on meds to stop it's progression for a very long time.  I'm going to see a nephrologist the beginning of next mo.

So, that is the good news and the bad news :)  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
