What we are eating and what's eating us,Friday!
It isn't going to be long and my race for the most of the day is going to be on. I am tired but just thinking that today is Friday and the week end might be a bit less hectic. I sure hope so. I am looking forward to just spending a day with Bill tomorrow and doing what we need to do and also what we want to do. This week has been run here and run there and do this and do that. I am just plain tired. I went to bed a bit early last night and was sound to sleep when Bill got home from work. I missed seeing him this but I never even heard him come in or even come to bed. I was out like a light!
Food this afternoon is going to be a bit in the air. I have to take my sister to the ophthalmologist and then I have to go and get my DIL and take here to her OB appointment. It won't be long and my little grandson is going to here. I just can't wait. Just about 7 weeks and he is going to make his appearance.

We're taking our 4 puppies to the vet today for their 2nd round of shots. We scheduled 2 appointments because taking all 4 puppies at the same time is more than we can handle now (even 2 at a time will be fun-filled), so this vet stuff will basically eat up the whole day.
B: chai tea protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: coconut-ginger chicken, Asian cucumber salad
S: olive cheese spread on Ak Mak crackers
D: crab alfredo pizza (on a broccoli crust instead of regular crust)

Carrie, my daughter, is on a plane flying to Aruba right now. I am happy for her as she hasn't had a real vacation in many years. After all she has gone through in the last few years she really needs this trip.
Greg and Carrie are celebrating their engagement. He gave her a ring a couple weeks ago.

I had one bit of bad news. My kidneys are only functioning at 50%, which explains why I haven't been feeling good. I'm going to take this one day at a time. They tell me I can be on meds to stop it's progression for a very long time. I'm going to see a nephrologist the beginning of next mo.
So, that is the good news and the bad news :) I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
